Tony F. Shafer

Job Titles:
  • Leader
  • Founder - in Memory of
Owning and operating The Deck Company was Tony's true passion. The idea to start a deck and patio business was inspired by the memory of a patio company his father owned and operated during summer vacation from his teaching career in the Denver Public Schools. Over the years, Tony grew the business from advertising on telephone poles and building several projects himself, to multiple building crews and a booming year-round production all across the Denver area. The Deck Company even grew to include commercial projects and completed several deck and shade structures for The Denver Zoo. Tony's dream of being an entrepreneur continues on as The Deck Company is still family-owned and operated. His memory will always live on in every deck we build…big or small.
