Shilstone Stud is a small Morgan horse breeding farm in beautiful Northern Michigan. Located just a few miles from the shores of Lake Michigan, near the picturesque village of Onekama (pronounced "Oh-neck-ah-ma"). A fancy show facility we are not, but we offer our equine friends a safe enviroment with plenty of affection and individual attention... Our breeding stock is selected with many different criteria in mind, always taking the whole of the individual into account. We believe that not all elements are equal and vigorously try to improve each foal crop. Many factors play into our decisions for our breeding stock and we are proud of the end results... Because we are a small operation, each horse is an individual and special to us.
