TREATMENT SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT - Key Persons

David Osinga

Job Titles:
  • Principal
David has 26 years of experience in the behavioral healthcare industry as both a direct provider and within an executive leadership team in a business development capacity. He brings a broad background to business consulting having served in both licensed psychiatric settings and addiction treatment facilities within a continuum of services ranging from residential inpatient treatment to sober living environments. Introduced to the industry in 1984, David began his career at an adolescent treatment facility where he developed a therapeutic recreational program and transitioned into a primary position. From there, David spent 17 years at Sierra Tucson as a primary therapist developing client curriculum, including the first transitions program, and was the first clinician to be credentialed in the treatment of compulsive gambling. During that time, he also became Sierra Tucson's national spokesperson for gambling addiction and appeared in numerous publications including the Wall Street Journal, CNN, the Congressional Quarterly, and the Medical Stock Newsletter. David most recently served in executive management as clinical director, where he organized the expansion of a clinical program beyond an existing extended care program, broadening the programmatic structure to incorporate a resident psychiatrist, primary admissions, and developed the curriculum to address co-occurring psychiatric and contextual issues for relapse prevention. David's strengths include a comprehensive knowledge of the behavioral health care and addiction treatment industry. He has collaborated with leadership teams to identify potential growth opportunities, develop and implement strategic business initiatives that reinforce brand recognition, integrate marketing communications efforts to increase visibility and support fiscal objectives, develop operational systems that improve referent relations, and develop programs that add value to stakeholders. David launched Treatment Systems Development because he recognized facilities would have to adapt to meet changes in the industry and remain relevant by adopting competitive business practices to leverage their value in the market. David is focused on doing what he loves best - working creatively with organizational leadership to better serve the community.
