VICTORY GARDENS VANCOUVER - Key Persons

Jenna Jaski (she/her) joined Victory Gardens as a volunteer in 2014, before becoming a team member in 2016 and a co-owner in 2018. She has a BSc in Environmental Science from Simon Fraser University. Jenna brings her passion for nature and learning to her role as a garden coach, as well as The Classroom Gardener program coordinator and lead facilitator. Working with students, teachers, and workshop participants, Jenna is a beloved facilitator who is perfectly suited to share her knowledge and skills to support novice and experienced gardeners across the region.

Maxim Winther (he/him) joined Victory Gardens in 2014 with a background in farming, social policy, and activism. Maxim has embedded himself into all aspects of the co-op, from garden maintenance and installations to design, carpentry, operations, and business administration. With his keen eye for detail, Maxim is our lead carpenter and resident problem solver, managing the team on installs and keeping things running smoothly on our back end.
