VKRM is a consortium of independent, accredited investors formed by Kumar Malavalli, founder of Brocade Communications, to invest in and support companies in various stages of their development. Its members are business and technology leaders, highly skilled and experienced in all aspects of building and managing companies from their early stages to their M & A or public IPOs... Our goal is to identify early stage companies who are developing new and innovative products to the market. We focus on early stage investments in technology companies with a follow through to exit. Our key deciding factors are typically the team behind the concept and the potential market... Members of VKRM have invested in all stages of a company's development; from seed to several rounds of preferred stock financings. Their primary focus has been primarily in the areas of: Enterprise Services and Software; Education; and various Internet sectors.
