I discovered my passion for design in grade four when I discovered the floor plan of the week feature in the Calgary Herald. Every weekend I looked forward to the homes section and a new layout in which to explore and understand a space. Educating myself beyond the local newspaper found me in the Interior Design program at Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto and at Mount Royal University in Calgary. Finishing up my schooling I set up roots in Calgary where it has always felt like home. I have had the fortunate opportunity to work with two well established residential design companies and a brand new start-up. Working for others has allowed me to experience several distinct approaches to design, while working for my self has allowed me to refine my own. This brings me to where I am today, still getting excited over floor plans only this time I am exploring a space through a client's eye to create a space to best serve their needs. Every renovation is an opportunity to redefine what home means to you and in the end should reflect your personality and function beautifully for you.

Jason is the heart behind the brand, and the brains behind the company strategy. With over 15 years in the building construction industry, his skills and knowledge are vast - but how he got into the industry, well that is less conventional! Jason's passion for woodworking started as a young skateboarder, determined to craft his very own skateboard ramp. Since his very first project, he was enamoured with the building process - how you could transform something so simple into your own unique vision! This has engrained in Jason his key principles - taking his clients vision, and making it into a reality. That is why the client is the most important part of the process for Jason, and why his customer service in the industry is unbeatable! His ultimate goal is that We Build will have left a positive, lasting impression on all of their clients and that they will have established a relationship based on mutual trust and respect. The fact that they will fall back in love with their home, is just a bonus!
