Weaver Realty Group's origin dates to the early 1980's when it was a real estate syndication and development company. Under the name The Cantrell Weaver Company it syndicated, developed, leased and managed ten office buildings, three medical office buildings, four shopping centers and four residential developments, in addition to numerous smaller projects, with a total value of $102,693,500. Keeping pace with the evolving real estate environment, the company changed its name to Weaver Realty Group in 1994 and centered its activities on property management, sales and leasing of commercial real estate properties for absentee as well as local owners. The company's most recent transition occurred in 2006 when it segregated its property management division to form Weaver Realty Group, LLC, currently managing over 2,000,000 square feet, while maintaining the brokerage activity under Weaver Realty Group, Inc.
