VINE FURNITURE

Vine Avenue Furniture was established in 1944 by father and son, George Hoffner, Sr. and George Hoffner, Jr. The business originated in a small narrow building in downtown Knoxville. As time passed, buildings on the entire block were purchased, leaving Vine Avenue Furniture as the sole home furnishings dealer on the block. In the late 70's Vine Avenue was renamed to Summit Hill Dr. with the introduction of a new boulevard through downtown. Vine Avenue Furniture has since been renamed to Vine Furniture. The business sits in the same block today with new buildings added throughout the years. Vine Furniture is still owned and operated by four generations of the Hoffner Family. Home furnishings, major appliances, and consumer electronics generate a great mix for consumers to keep coming back. The philosophy is the same today as it was in 1944: To provide a quality product, superior customer service, and free delivery to our customer...
