Grace grew up in Brooklyn and has worked for various non-profit organizations throughout her career, including an affordable housing organization where she was the President of the Board of Directors/COO. Today she's proud to be in Harlem where she can visit local restaurants and see the art that shows where her prior work and education collide. She enjoys running 5K, reading and family gatherings.
June Andrews-Henderson was born in London, England and grew up in Queens. She has over 25-years of success in non-profit affordable housing, program implementation, as well as organizational and fiscal management. June is an active member and officer of The Greater Allen Cathedral of New York, a board member of the Greater Allen Development Corporation and a board member of Neighborhood Preservation and Development and a member of the Allen Liturgical Dance Ministry. She fell in love with the history and artistic expression of Harlem and the way it depicts black culture with its well- known landmarks such as the Apollo Theatre and Cotton Club. You can find her enjoying some of Harlem's restaurants such as Red Rooster, Dinosaur Barb-B-Que and Sylvia's.
Mr. Courtney Bennett, Board Member. Mr. Bennett has served on WHGA's board since 2002 and has worked in Harlem for many years.
Ms. Diane Ince, Treasurer has served on WHGA's board for over 30 years. She is a retired property manager, coordinating building services for low and moderate-income tenants. Ms. Ince is a local Harlem resident and homeowner and has worked as an activist to bring quality housing and social services to the Harlem community. She also coordinates summer activities for local youth.
Ms. Genevieve Outlaw, Secretary has served on the WHGA board of directors for over 15 years. Ms. Outlaw is a Housing Coordinator and an affordable housing activist. She is the chairperson of her cooperative building and assists other coops with their fiscal management and governance procedures.
