Alexandra Carney

Alexandra Carney joined the firm in August 2020 after completing her bachelor's degree in accounting at Washington State University. Her attention to detail, sunny disposition, and ability to organize has made her an asset in the firm administrator position. In her spare time, Alexandra likes to explore the world of fashion and beauty, as well as spend time with her two fur babies.

Aliina Anton-Erik

Aliina Anton-Erik, CPA/PFS and Partner, joined the firm in 2012. She holds a Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University, has been a licensed CPA since 2007, and is a certified Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). She has been practicing since 2002 in all things tax related. Aliina focuses her time on tax planning and consulting, personal financial planning, and other specialized tax issues and situations. She is particularly interested in special needs planning, special needs trusts, gifting, partnership issues, and individual retirement planning. Aliina is happy to work closely with you and your attorney to put together a tax and estate plan that achieves your goals. Aliina is a member of the Washington State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. She holds a current Certified Public Accountant license issued by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. In her free time, Aliina enjoys aerobics, racing down the ski hill, managing her wild yard and trying to take control of her 1940's Everett home. She and her husband have two children, Forrest and Sylvia, and two homely but delightful cats.

Annalea James

Annalea James joined the firm in November of 2023. A transplant from Hawaii, she brings a creative energy to the firm. In her free time she enjoys practicing Jiu-jitsu, graphic design work and spending time with her cat.

Barbara Carney

Barbara Carney, CPA and Retired Partner/Consultant, has been with Werner, O'Meara & Company since January 2005. She worked for twenty years as an office manager before returning to school to obtain her degree. She was awarded her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University in June 2003 and her Master of Professional Accountancy from CWU in June 2004. Her areas of interest include the construction industry, trust and estate taxation, and small-to-medium sized businesses. Barbara is a member of the Washington State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Barbara holds a current Certified Public Accountant license issued by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. When she is not working, Barbara enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and camping with her sisters and brothers at the family property in Lilliwaup on Hood Canal.

Charles Meyerson

Charles "Charlie" Meyerson, CPA, joined Werner, O'Meara & Co. in November 2015. He received a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington in 2005. Charlie's innate ability to converse led to employment in the hospitality industry. Excited at the prospect of changing fields and hoping to use his love of numbers, Charlie enrolled at Central Washington University where he earned a BS in Accounting in 2011. If the weather is cooperating, you can usually find Charlie outside doing something: fly fishing, hiking, golfing and BBQing being the most likely.

Davin Carey

Davin Carey is a regional vice president and financial planning consultant for Avantax Planning Partners SM. In collaboration with a client's CPA, Davin provides integrated planning and investment strategies for growing and protecting individuals and business clients' wealth. He designs personalized wealth management solutions by integrating estate planning, risk management, and retirement planning. Additionally, he supports business owners by reviewing their company retirement plans and optimizing for tax efficiency and helps with business transition strategies. His focus is based on each client's unique objectives and priorities. Davin is a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor. He is the youngest advisor ever to qualify for Avantax's President's Advisor Council and has ranked among the broker-dealer's top 15 advisors nationwide since 2016. Euli Rath

Seattle for several years. She has worked in both audit and tax and enjoys the variety in her work. She is adept at handling both businesses and individuals. She graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg with a degree in mathematics. Later she returned to school to earn a post-baccalaureate accounting certificate from Southern Oregon University. She received her CPA in 2008. In her free time, Euli enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She likes to read, go for walks, and play games with family and friends.

Jazmin Nunez

Jazmin Nunez joined the firm in January of 2022. She is a current student pursuing her accounting degree at the University of Washington Bothell and is excited about this new journey. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, but is most excited about playing soccer.

Lacey Yoder

Lacey Yoder, CPA, joined Werner, O'Meara & Company in January 2024. After graduating from Washington State University with a Masters in Accounting, she worked in public accounting in the Spokane area for 2 years, before moving to Seattle in 2021. Outside the office, Lacey enjoys spending time with friends, exploring the Seattle area, and traveling. She is excited to be a part of the firm, and looks forward to working with everyone!

Peg O'Meara

Peg O'Meara, CPA and Partner, has practiced in Public Accounting since 1979. She received her B.A. in Accounting/ Economics from Gonzaga University and holds a Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. She has experience in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, construction, retail and legal services. As a tax specialist, Peg handles issues in the areas of individual, partnership, corporate, trust and estate taxation. She is a member of the AICPA and WSCPA, and holds a current Certified Public Accountant license issued by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. Peg and her husband, Jeff, have three children: Alexandra, Austin, and Casey. In her spare time she enjoys trips to her cabin on Lake Chelan. Peg is an avid reader, a connoisseur of fine wines, an aristocrat of business, and a wizard on the ten key. She has mastered the games of badminton and bocce ball.

Rachel Griscom

Rachel Griscom, CPA joined Werner O'Meara in September. After earning a BBA in Accounting from the University of Washington, she began her career with three years of private accounting experience at a microbiological laboratory. She then switched to public accounting and spent one and a half years working in tax before settling at Werner O'Meara. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to join the team and is looking forward to her first tax season with everyone!

Rachel Sites

Rachel Sites, CPA, first joined the Werner, O'Meara & Company team in January 2008 after earning her BS in Accounting from Central Washington University in 2007. In June 2011, Rachel went to work as an accounting manager and then assistant controller for an environmental drilling company. However, the call of public accounting couldn't be ignored for long, and Rachel returned home to Werner, O'Meara & Company in June 2014. She enjoys providing financial accounting services including reviewed, compiled, and prepared financial statements. She also likes working with a variety of clients who have complex tax issues such as operating in multiple states or trading cryptocurrency. She is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs, and holds a current Certified Public Accounting license issued by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. Aside from accounting, Rachel loves spending time with her husband playing board games, visiting local craft breweries, and traveling. She is also passionate about animal rescue and can often be found walking or playing with her furry four legged kids at the dog park.

Rebecca Edwards

Rebecca Edwards joined the firm in December of 2023. She joins us after being a Licensed Massage Therapist of 11 years and is a currently pursuing her associates degree at Edmonds College, eventually transferring over to the University of Washington - Seattle Campus to complete her bachelors and master's degrees in Social Work. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doing craftwork that consist of crocheting and needlepoint/cross-stitch projects. Thus, spending quality time with her two fur-babies.

Roger Werner

Roger Werner, CPA and Retired Partner, spent nearly all of his adult life in practice as an accountant. His business career began with the U.S. Navy Supply Corp. where he performed accounting services for a small Naval facility from 1969-1972. Coupled with an MBA degree from the University of California - Berkeley with a concentration in accounting, this was enough to assure him that accounting was the right career choice. He followed the Navy job with four years at the national accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co., and practice in local accounting firms. In 1978 he helped found Vine, Dahlen, Werner & Company which grew into a 20-person accounting practice. In 1999 he split off to form Werner, O'Meara & Co. PLLC with several of his respected colleagues. Roger's primary focus in practice was tax and financial accounting and consulting for small businesses of all types. He placed an emphasis on tax practice and taught numerous classes and seminars in tax accounting. Among Roger's clients were contractors, professional firms, wholesalers, manufacturers, non-profit organizations and many others. He was one of the first CPAs in Washington to initiate a financial planning and investment advisory practice, and holds the distinction of being the first professional in the state to be both a personal financial specialist and a registered investment advisor. In April, 2014, Roger entered a new passage in life. Although he continues to provide investment advisory services, he retired from full-time public accounting and set out on his 38' sailboat with his wife, Lynne and dog, Salty. While fulfilling this life long dream, Roger has stayed in touch by writing up periodic reports on his blog site at SV-Schatzi. He says the family has not made any future plans, so all suggestions are welcome!

Sharie Landsverk

Sharie Landsverk, CPA, has been providing accounting services for small to medium sized businesses since 1983 and has worked with Roger Werner since January 1997. Sharie obtained her BS in Accounting from Central Washington University in 1995. While she works with a variety of business types, she has developed an expertise in the construction industry. Her experience also includes training and assistance with computer applications such as QuickBooks. Sharie is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs,and holds a current Certified Public Accountant license issued by the Washington State Board of Accountancy. You will often hear her say she loves her job, not just because she likes taxes and accounting, but because of the team culture we have at Werner O'Meara & Company. Outside the office, Sharie enjoys spending time with her family. Her two sons Aaron and Sean are the highlight of her life and her sister Tania is her best friend. Aaron keeps her entertained with his musical abilities and Sean with his baseball and soccer events. They spend a lot of time in their motor home camping or just visiting Tania's farm. Sharie's house is often full of kids and she loves that they make themselves at home there.

Sue Diasio

Sue DiAsio joined the Werner, O'Meara & Co. team in February 2020. She obtained a BS in Accounting from the Central Washington University in 1997. Sue has worked for both local and national CPA firms since graduating from CWU. Sue provides tax preparation and planning services for clients of all sizes and types (Individuals, Partnerships, S Corporations, Corporations, Private Foundations, Not for Profits, Estates and Trusts). She also enjoys preparing reviewed financial statements. Her attention to detail is especially beneficial when working with client's having multiple entities and larger projects. She strives to provide every client with prompt service of the highest quality based on their individual needs. Outside of accounting, Sue enjoys hiking, rock climbing, rowing and spending time with family!
