Barth Campbell

Barth Campbell has over 30 years of experience in development, management, and budgeting for environmental restoration projects. More specifically he excels in trail design, hydrological pattern analysis and correction, geomorphology assessment, watershed planning, erosion control design and implementation, road and trail design and construction, road-to-trail conversion, road and trail removal and decommissioning, and stream channel, wetland, and creek restoration and stabilization. Barth personally oversees each project and provides quality control experience, problem solving, and hands-on management of his small company. He has extensive training in hazardous materials removal, water quality protection, trench building and excavation, erosion and sediment control, and advanced trail maintenance. Barth specializes in working in environmentally sensitive areas and in creating unique and innovative solutions to trail work, restoration, and creek stabilization challenges. He routinely coordinates with multiple project partners and prides himself on his ability to complete jobs on time and within budget.

Javier Perez

Javier Perez specializes in hand excavation around roots, traffic control and safety, fire prevention, stockpile management, erosion control installation, and Park Tread® surfacing installation. He assists with and performs a wide range of jobs with a great attitude and unmatched enthusiasm. Javier feels lucky to be able to work around plants, animals, and history. He is a favorite for hand excavation around trees, due to his meticulous and careful digging. Campbell Grading, Inc., admires him for his willingness to learn a wide range of skills and tasks quickly.

Kevin Soiland

Miguel Salinas

Miguel Salinas is a journeyman carpenter with over two years of experience as a project foreman and more than 14 years as a carpenter working on project layout, surveying, and grade checking on a variety of projects. Miguel conducts daily project tracking of equipment, labor, and materials. He manages project schedules, material purchasing and handling, and the work of our subcontractors. He oversees the in-field safety program with weekly safety meetings and daily site inspections. Miguel excels at communicating with employees and clients as well as saving time and money with his problem-solving skills. He always keeps project sites well organized, clean, and safe. Miguel is trained in and sensitive to environmental issues, such as recognition and protection of the California red-legged frog, San Francisco garter snake, and coho salmon.

Ricardo Espinoza

Ricardo Espinoza has over 20 years of experience with Campbell Grading, Inc., using both heavy and light equipment to perform trail work in sensitive environmental areas, including parks and open space. Ricardo has worked and overseen crews on trail and road construction, road-to-trail conversion, channel excavation, drainage improvement, root wad installation, and road and trail decommissioning projects. He uses proven construction methods to safely perform work in unstable terrain, steep areas (over 35 percent grades), archeologically sensitive areas, and other settings requiring high skill levels and environmental sensitivity. Ricardo has been an asset to Campbell Grading, Inc., longer than any other employee. He attributes his longevity to his passion for the work that Campbell Grading, Inc., does and his desire to share that work with the public.

Shad Mossberg

Shad Mossberg is a great asset to the Campbell Grading, Inc., team. His love for exploring the great outdoors and wilderness fits perfectly with Campbell Grading, Inc.'s business model. Shad brings to the job a recognition of the delicate balance of nature and the need to preserve it as we work on projects. Shad is a journeyman heavy equipment operator and a crew leader with experience in sensitive habitat operations. He leads crew members with a positive, productive approach. And his love for the outdoors shows as he mentors other crew members.
