Chris Sanderson

Chris Sanderson is a key leader at the Plymouth office of Merrill. He excels at all aspects of project management from advising potential clients in the proposal phase through overseeing the design and permitting of the construction. Utility Division on natural gas related projects. Prior to joining Merrill, Chris worked on wind turbine projects in the Northeast involving wind resource assessments and environmental impact studies. Additional civil engineering design experience includes traffic impact assessments, residential subdivision design, septic design, and stormwater management. Chris holds a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, as well as certifications from OSHA for Construction Safety and Health.

Christie DiCarlo

Christie joined the Merrill Team in 2015 as an Administrative Assistant and worked her way up to become the Controller for Merrill where she manages all aspects of business operations, client relations, human resources, and accounting. She works closely with the President to ensure daily operations are running smoothly. When she is not in the office you can find her exercising her two German Shepherds, Rocco and Kaiser.

Doug Aaberg

Doug Aaberg has land surveying and civil engineering experience spanning over four decades and has worked on a multitude of detailed commercial, municipal and residential projects. As Director of Land Survey at Merrill, Doug brings strong leadership skills to see Merrill through the "big picture" direction of evolving in the survey industry while ensuring our survey division's product delivery is flawless by utilizing advanced technology to achieve our client's goals in the most efficient manner. He can assist our clients through his specialties in boundary line determination, commercial and residential subdivisions, land court surveys, topographic and detail surveys, bathymetric surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys, GPS surveys, and construction layout services. He is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts and a Licensed Land Surveyor in Colorado.

James L. Robinson

Jason Bascom

Jason Bascom joined the Merrill survey team in November of 2018. Being a 4th-generation surveyor with more than 12 years of experience in the field and office, Jason has been involved with many types of projects, using all types of equipment. He has done utility surveys, roadway surveys, boundary surveys, hydrographic surveys, dam deformation surveys, aerial surveys, laser scanning, and erosion monitoring. In addition to survey work at Merrill, he also obtains easements and land rights for utility installation throughout Massachusetts. Jason holds a degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, is a Certified Engineer in Training (E.I.T.), is 10-Hour OSHA Certified for Construction Safety, and holds a Remote Pilot Certificate issued by the FAA (Part 107) for commercial drone operations.

Josh Bows has managed numerous residential, commercial, and industrial projects from inception through permitting and construction since joining Merrill in 2002. As President of Merrill since 2013, Josh leads Merrill in its quest to be at the forefront of top civil engineering and land surveying firms in Massachusetts. He not only implements Merrill's mission of adding value to every project but helps create and promote Merrill's culture and philosophy of the Merrill "teaming" with our Clients. He has established himself as a leader of a fast-growing company while maintaining a competitive edge in the industry through marketing efforts, financial prosperity, advanced technology, and investigating job sectors. But, as a team player and someone who values our ability to provide personalized service due to our unique size, Josh also can be found answering phones, doing soil testing, reviewing plans, and whatever other task needs to be completed at any given moment. Peter Palmieri has been a Senior Project Manager with Merrill for over 30 years. As Director of Engineering, Peter oversees and manages Merrill's civil design team and key projects. Additionally, Peter provides engineering peer review services to many municipalities throughout Massachusetts. Peter has a Master's of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Ray Addison

Ray joined Merrill in February 2023 as a Survey Technician. He graduated from Stonehill College in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in History. Before joining Merrill, Ray worked as a researcher and genealogist for several libraries, museums and historical societies. From this experience, he brings a strong background in property and deed research. He regularly conducts field work on a variety of projects including boundary surveys, construction layout, and existing condition plans.

Richard Cheverie

Rich Cheverie joined Merrill in 2002 with a background in architecture, carpentry, land surveying, and construction. He works closely with Merrill's engineering design team on residential and commercial projects, performing daily field surveys, construction layout, and AutoCAD plan preparation work. Tom Pozerski joined Merrill in 2007 after serving 31 years as a Field Grade Military Engineering Officer Serving on Active and Reserve Duty. During his service he was assigned to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (ACOE)-Military Division for 28 years. He was an enlisted soldier for three years and performed his officer training while stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C, subsequently being promoted as an Officer. Throughout his career he completed four command tours of duty to include combat operations in Southwest Asia. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
