CHARLIES GELATO

Charlies Gelato is more than an ice cream shop. We're considered an institution in Matakana. Locals and tourists alike flock to Charlies to enjoy the gelato, sorbetto and seasonal fresh produce, made and grown on site... We make all of our award-winning gelato and sorbetto the same way the Italians do: from scratch, in very small batches. (Watch our video below.) Over the past 10 years we've been developing a range of delectable new flavours in addition to the ‘old favourites'. With at least 40 flavours on display, the hardest part of your visit will be trying to choose which one to have!
