Here at Eagle Butte Ranch we raise natural grass-fed, 100% pasture-raised Wagyu and Main Anjou cattle. We also grow specialty hay, such as low-carb, weed-free, and top quality horse hay. The ranch is nestled at the base of the Elk Mountain range in Western Colorado between Paonia and Hothckiss in the fertile North Fork Valley. We strive to produce top quality hay that is herbicide and insecticide-free and top quality beef from happy, stress-free cows... At Eagle Butte Ranch we strive to produce the highest quality of hay. Our hay is grown without the use of herbicides or insecticides. We use compost and sustainable management to create a quality product that tests high in nutrition. Every cutting is individually tested by Equi-Analytical Laboratories giving us the full nutritional value of every crop.
