Carsten Wittrup is an international innovation leader with an engineering background applied in the food, beverage and water markets. Mr. Wittrup has acted as Global Director and Sector Head for several multinational companies operating in more than 70 countries and with revenues ranging from 500 million to in excess of 16 billion US dollars. Stationed for years in Europe, South America and USA, he has lead market introduction efforts within the field of innovative processing methods and technologies for establishing or improving novel Aqua culture processes, water services, water recycling, optimized food processing for meat, poultry, fish and freezing thereof. In addition to involvement with private and public corporations, Mr. Wittrup has a significant track record of interaction with Universities, Government agencies, Consultancies and Economic Development agencies. Mr. Wittrup is a specialist in implementation of patent strategies and planning of commercial Intellectual Property (IP) licensing. He is an International speaker and contributing author to several publications and books. He has an engineering degree from The Technical University of Denmark.
