Established in October 2023, our Albuquerque office got its start when the staff of Ecosphere joined Barr. Ecosphere, an environmental consulting firm, specialized in environmental compliance and permitting, natural and cultural resources consulting, public outreach and participation, and environmental planning and monitoring. Barr's Denver office opened in May 2019 with the acquisition of Marquez Environmental Services, an environmental consulting firm specializing in air permitting and compliance services for oil and gas clients. Later that year we acquired High Energy Inc., renowned for its electrical, structural, and civil engineering services for substations, overhead and underground transmission lines, and overhead distribution lines.
