HIS WORD BROADCASTING

His Word Broadcasting Company is an Oregon nonprofit corporation. It incorporated on October 6, 1989. The original incorporators and the initial Board members were John H. Horn, Dennis Walen, and StanleyT. Merrell. It's stated purpose was to operate exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes, within the meaning of Section 501(c )(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It then qualified as a 501 (c ) (3) nonprofit corporation. Contributions to His Word Broadcasting Company are tax deductible. His Word Broadcasting Company took over and continued the broadcasting of the Christian programs being broadcast on over the air TV channel 59 by Support Christian Broadcasting. In 1989 His Word Broadcasting entered into an agreement with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) to rebroadcast the network programs of Trinity Broadcasting Network in the Eugene, Springfield, and Southern Willamette Valley area.
