Lina Parnell - CEO

Through challenges like the Great Recession and the coronavirus pandemic, Lina has guided this enterprise we call Innovaxis Marketing. With a background in production engineering, continuous improvement and operational stewardship with companies that include Johnson & Johnson and AIG, Lina helps ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality of service and results for our clients. Lina is responsible for the financial stewardship of Innovaxis and achieving operational excellence so that we continue to be financially healthy and offer the highest level of service quality for our clients. Her prior work experience includes being an underwriter in both the Global Trade & Political Risk and the Trade Credit Departments at AIG. She also served as a quality auditor for Compsych, operations manager for Near North Insurance, and a purchasing executive for Johnson & Johnson. Lina's educational background includes the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business MBA program and a BS in Production Engineering from EAFIT University (MedellĂ­n, Colombia). Lina's personal interests include urban adventuring around the globe and reading. She is also a wife, mother and Cubs fan.

By day, Sean draws from his 22 years of B2B marketing strategy, agency and client-side experience to produce innovative, integrated marketing plans that have dramatically increased sales for so many B2B clients as president of Innovaxis Marketing. Sean graduated with honors from Northern Illinois University with a BS in Operations Management & Information Systems. By night, the creator of the popular entertainment guide the Chicago Bar Project transforms into Chicago's foremost authority on nightlife and tavern history, a figure so captivating that Dos Equis' "Most Interesting Man in the World" lists Sean as a personal reference. After years of tireless "research," Sean distilled his encyclopedic knowledge of local nightlife lore to write the definitive book on the historic bars of Chicago, aptly named, Historic Bars of Chicago. Sean's philanthropic endeavors include serving as a board member at People's Music School, and as Chairman of the AIESEC NIU Board of Advisors. Sean is also a husband, father and Cubs fan, but don't hold the latter against him. According to Sean, "I am grateful to be surrounded by women that are smarter, more talented and more emotionally intelligent than I am, and that they continue to put up with me." In January 2007, Sean founded Innovaxis after 12 years of working in market research, product management, distribution channel strategy, and developing both digital and traditional marketing campaigns. Sean serves as a fractional / outsource CMO for B2B clients without a marketing department, and marketing consultant for B2B marketing executives, while serving the Innovaxis team as the head marketing architect.
