Background: Jim has over 30 years of executive management and project management experience in a diverse range of industries including engineering, manufacturing, aerospace and defence, information technology, and business services. After twelve years in Ottawa, he repatriated to New Brunswick in 2000 and founded InPro Solutions. Entrepreneurship is in his DNA. As a kid he ran paper routes and mowed lawns. As a university student he started a technical services company. As a professional, Jim held ownership positions in an engineering service company, an injection moulding/tool & die firm, and now InPro Solutions. A long-time business owner, his first-hand experience has forged a deep understanding of the issues critical to running a business. His analytical skills, strategic vision, and operational acumen have helped many companies thrive and prosper in their respective markets. His engaging style has enabled the successful delivery of many custom-designed seminars, workshops, and instructor-led courses. Active in industry and trade organizations, Jim has held executive positions with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE-Ottawa) and the New Brunswick Aerospace and Defence Association. He is a trained ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor, and successfully completed training certified by the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment for ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
