LCHTECH is developing a family of PLL ICs, which can be used in Crystal oscillators and RF PLL synthesizer products. Crystal oscillators, from a lower frequency fundamental crystal, generate a low-jitter high frequency output clock as clock references for high-speed serial data applications such as Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, SAS/SATA, SONET, XAUI, InfiniBand, and PCI Express. Crystal oscillators, using an inexpensive low frequency crystal, provides a cost-effective clock source for most electronic systems.
