Amber Knight

Amber Knight brings a broad base of solid experience leading enterprise-level initiatives through all phases of project implementation. Her experience performing business process analysis utilizing Six Sigma, Lean and blended methodologies offers Madison Advisors' clients support for improving business processes that result in operational efficiencies. Amber is responsible for large-scale print and mail outsourcing projects and coordinating multiple phases of execution for client projects. Amber's previous experience included her role as Senior Project Manager, Output Services for Fiserv, a global fintech and payments company with solutions for banking, global commerce, merchant acquisition, billing and payments. There, she successfully led highly confidential program initiatives focused on improvements within capacity planning, system implementation, data security and compliance. Prior to Fiserv, Amber worked for Foresee Consulting, a capital management consulting firm, where she was Senior Consultant executing solutions architecture, project management plans and integration strategy for Exelon Corporation. Amber holds extensive accreditations that include Lean Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt and Total Quality Management.

Jeff Weldon

Jeff Weldon provides project-based advisory services in the customer communications management (CCM) marketplace to enterprise accounts and print service providers. With a wealth of industry and analyst experience in digital printing and CCM software solutions, Jeff leads engagements that assist clients with technology selection and alignment and business process optimization decisions. In addition to CCM solutions, Jeff also has extensive knowledge of output management systems, including print management and workflow systems and electronic delivery solutions. Previously serving as a Principal Analyst with Madison Advisors from 2002 to 2007, Jeff rejoined the firm in 2013 after six years with Canon/Océ in its business process outsourcing group. His focus at Canon/Océ ranged from managed print services to high-volume POD shops. Client solutions included software such as uniFLOW, Equitrac and eCopy, among others. Prior to Canon/Océ, Jeff served as Vice President of Marketing for enterprise output vendor OPserver, Inc., worked for The Thomson Corporation as a consultant for electronic publishing initiatives and at Adobe Systems, specializing in the integration of Adobe Acrobat products into electronic information delivery solutions. Jeff earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Boston University. He is a Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+).

John Roche

John Roche brings more than 30 years of sales and sales management experience to Madison Advisors with a focus on printing equipment, finishing technologies, operational efficiencies and workflow. At Madison Advisors, John is responsible for assessing strategic initiatives around CCM production workflows and operational assessments, leveraging his background in the production print space and impressive experience in multiple facets of digital print processes. Additionally, John helps organizations with technology partner selection and alignment to support their targeted operating model. Prior to joining Madison Advisors, John was Regional Director, Production Printing Systems at Canon Solutions America. He was responsible for managing the direct sales force for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions for all high-volume production print equipment and related products. He consistently led his teams to become top performers and achieved President's Club and 100% Club 24 times in 28 years. John held various roles at Siemens Nixdorf Printing Systems and Océ Production Printing, including District Manager, Solutions Manager, Strategic Business Manager and Regional Director. Prior to Siemens Nixdorf, John was a Regional Manager for Wallace Computer Services, a producer of business forms, labels, direct mail and catalogs. John earned a B.S. in Business Management, with a minor in Finance from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Kemal Carr - President

Kemal is regularly sought out by some of the leading output technology publications to write about or comment on the industry's key issues and topics, including articles on the impact of eDelivery and Multi-channel delivery, advancement in communication technologies, and electronic document presentment. He is also asked to speak at trade events, including key sessions at Xplor's Global conference, DOCUMENT Strategy Forum, Inkjet Summit, and numerous vendor trade events. In 2010 Carr received the Xplorer of the Year award from Xplor International at its Global Conference. The award was in recognition of Carr's "volunteer service to the Association, dedication to the Xplor mission and promotion of the interests of the electronic document systems industry at large." Kemal earned a B.B.A. in management information systems from the University of Wisconsin and is a M.B.A. candidate in management at Texas Christian University.

Richard Huff

Richard Huff provides extensive experience in managing market and product research to offer strategic advice on best practices and technology recommendations for printing/mailing operations. His experience includes assisting clients with enterprise document strategies, product selection and market initiatives. Prior to joining Madison Advisors, Rich worked as a Senior Analyst with Doculabs, where he was the lead on end user and vendor engagements. He also has experience on the manufacturer side, having held positions at Uarco, Inc., a manufacturer of customized business forms and labels. Rich was an integral member of the launch team for Uarco Impressions, one of the first distributed short-run color print operations.

Roger Tapke

Roger Tapke brings expertise to Madison Advisors from a long career in printing/mailing operations as well as operations and manufacturing within several other industries. In addition to extensive knowledge of all aspects of print, mail and presort operations, his expertise includes organizational and process analysis/improvement, team building, and succession planning. Prior to joining Madison Advisors, Roger successfully led a major print/mail facility for more than 15 years. Under his leadership, the facility achieved MPTQM certification from the USPS and won Top Ten recognition in Industry Week's manufacturing excellence program. He developed and employed strategies around client conversions, plant/product consolidations, client service methodologies and team building that drove the organization to new levels of growth and financial performance. Roger has an additional 25 years of operational and manufacturing experience including 16 years with General Electric where he completed their Manufacturing Management Program and was trained in many of GE's industry leading programs and techniques used to achieve superior business results. Roger earned a B.S. in ceramic engineering from Iowa State University.
