MEDILINK CONSULTING GROUP - Key Persons

Ed Eichhorn established the Medilink Consulting Group in 2006 to provide senior management at medical product and service companies with sales, marketing, and strategic planning advice. Ed also has been the legislative strategist for the federal lobbying needs of medical societies. Along with Dr. Michael Hutchinson, Ed co-authored Healing American Healthcare, A Plan to Provide Quality Care For All While Saving $1 Trillion A Year. He is a speaker on universal healthcare issues. Ed also founded the Healing American Healthcare Coalition in 2020 to keep healthcare professionals informed on important pandemic research and healthcare policy issues. Since March of 2020, through the Coalition Ed and his colleague John Dalton have provided a twice-monthly newsletter, the Three Minute Read TM for members of the Coalition. John and Ed summarize and comment on five or six of the most relevant articles from their regular review of more than 70 publications. In 2021, as the pandemic death toll passed the total for the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, they co-authored Healing American Healthcare - Lessons from the Pandemic. Along with his co-authors, Ed has written commentary and editorials for US New & World Report, Smerconish.com, HR.com, Law 360, Managed Health Care Executive Magazine, and Garden State Focus Magazine, among others. During his career, Ed Eichhorn was the Director of Research and Development for a kidney dialysis company. He helped to establish, manage, and later sell Biotrax International, an innovative mobile medical testing business that serviced clinics in 38 states. Ed also served as a senior executive for a large chain of medical imaging centers where he was responsible for sales, marketing, contracting and strategic planning. Ed earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree at Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA in Industrial Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has a long-standing interest in serving his community. He served on his local school board for 12 years and as a member of the board of trustees at his alma mater, for four years where he served as chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee.
