Nigeria America Line (NAL) was founded in 1979 by General TY Danjuma (Rtd), who created Comet Shipping Agencies Nigeria Limited in 1984 with the same management team. These two companies became the main part of the NAL-COMET Group and today this impressive group consists of seven other sister companies which offer comprehensive services within shipping, oil servicing, terminal operation, clearing and forwarding, underwater engineering, electrical and electronic supply and installation, transformer manufacture, fishing, food product importation and distribution... With over 30 years of experience, NAL-COMET is one of the most successful indigenous shipping companies in Nigeria. Founded in 1979 by General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (Rtd), what began life as a shipping business with 12 staff has grown into a group of eight companies employing over 2,000 staff within Nigeria.
