Ann M. Firth serves as vice president and chief of staff to Notre Dame's 17 th president, Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C. Firth's responsibilities include: advising the president; managing the staff and operations of the office; serving as a liaison with the University's Board of Trustees; working with the Budget Working Group, the Faculty Board on Athletics and the President's Leadership Council; and planning for the University's Commencement Exercises. Firth joined the Office of the president in November 2011 as associate vice president and counselor to the President, was appointed to the chief of staff position in March 2012, and in 2018 was named vice president and chief of staff. Firth received both a Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame. After practicing law in Chicago, she returned to Notre Dame to join the Division of Student Affairs as the inaugural director of the Office of Residence Life, serving for six years as the University's primary hearing officer for student disciplinary matters. Prior to her role in the President's Office, Firth served as a member of the Student Affairs senior leadership team for over 20 years. As associate vice president for Student Affairs, she was responsible for strategic planning and assessment for the Division, ensuring student welfare and safety, managing crisis communications, leading efforts aimed at better integration of academic and student life, implementing the University's residential master plan, and oversight of The Career Center and Campus Ministry. Over the course of her career in student life at Notre Dame, Firth was instrumental in establishing both the Office of Alcohol and Drug Education (OADE) and the Gender Relations Center, led two University committees on the future of residential life, and served as the chair of the Committee on Sexual Assault Prevention and deputy Title IX coordinator. Firth is the recipient of a University Presidential Award for her work. She has also been honored by the Congregation of Holy Cross with the Howard J. Kenna, C.S.C. Award for "extraordinary contributions to Notre Dame and Holy Cross", and she received the Armstrong Award from Notre Dame's Alumni Association, which honors a Notre Dame graduate who has rendered distinguished service to the University. Firth and her husband, John, who also holds undergraduate and law degrees from the University, are the parents of five children, all of them Notre Dame graduates.

Anne Griffith

Anne Griffith serves as the Vice President for University Enterprises and Events (UEE). In this role, she provides strategic executive leadership to Notre Dame's hospitality, licensing, and merchandising programs, leading 30 business units across campus, including the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore, the Morris Inn, McKenna Conference Center, retail and residential dining, and licensing. UEE also plays an integral role in most major campus events, including commencement, football game day hospitality, and concerts in Notre Dame Stadium. Anne has served as a leader at Notre Dame since 2010. Prior to her current role, she was Assistant Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness in UEE where she led the division's business development, finance, technology, talent acquisition and management, marketing, continuous improvement, and operational units. Before joining UEE, she spent two years as Director in the Office of the President, during which time she was an integral part of the University's Covid Response Unit, leading Contact Tracing. Anne spent nine years in Development, serving as the Senior Director of the East Region, Director of Research and Prospect Management, and Assistant Director of Regional Analysis. Before joining Notre Dame, Anne served in leadership roles at Baxter Healthcare, the Hartford Insurance Group, Johnson & Johnson, and Proctor and Gamble. Anne earned her Bachelor of Science at Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration at Loyola University. She has been a leader in the South Bend community for over twenty years, having served a variety of volunteer leadership positions for St. Anthony de Padua Parish, Christ Child Society, South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestra, South Bend Symphony Orchestra Association, Marian High School, and St. Joseph High School.

Anne Overly serves as Senior Advisor to the Executive Vice President. In this role, she is responsible for providing support to the Executive Vice President on a variety of projects and initiatives and managing the day-to-day operations of the office. Anne received her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame with majors in English and Communication. Anne returned to Notre Dame in 2017. Most recently, she served as an Executive Director of Regional Development, where she oversaw two fundraising regions and the Hesburgh Women of Impact initiative. Anne also spent time as a Senior Regional Director of Development, leading a team of fundraisers, and as a Regional Director of Development. Previously, Anne worked at Pearson, where she was a District Sales Manager in the HigherEd Math and Science division for the Chicago and Michigan region. David serves the University of Notre Dame as the Vice President for Institutional Research, Innovation and Strategy. He partners with leaders across campus to build strategic plans and facilitates cross-university strategic initiatives. David has led the office since 2012 and is a member of the President's Leadership Council. Prior to assuming his current role at the University, David was a senior equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs for eight years, covering the technology hardware sector, which includes companies such as Apple, Dell, HP, IBM, and NetApp. Prior to Goldman Sachs, David held the same position at the boutique Wall Street firm, Gerard Klauer Mattison (now part of Bank of Montreal). David began his career at IBM, first in application development and then as a client executive for ten years, marketing to global Wall Street firms. David graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1983, with a BS in Mathematics, and later earned his MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. David Go is vice president and associate provost for academic strategy and the Viola D. Hank Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. His major responsibilities include implementation and execution of the academic elements of the University Strategic Framework and the appointment, reappointment, and promotion process for tenured and tenure-track faculty. Go is a member of the Provost's Cabinet and President's Leadership Committee, and serves on the Provost's Advisory Committee, Academic Council, Enterprise Risk Committee, Institutional Risk and Compliance Committee, New Program Committee, and Undue Foreign Influence Committee. Prior to assuming his current role, Go was the Director of Graduate Studies and more recently, Chair of the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Go joined Notre Dame's Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in 2008 and is also concurrent faculty in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Prior to joining Notre Dame, Prof. Go received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame in 2001, M.S. in aerospace engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2004, and Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in 2008. Go also was a design engineer at General Electric from 2001 to 2004, where he was a member of the Edison Engineering Development Program. Go has published widely in the areas of plasma science and engineering, heat transfer and fluid dynamics, and chemical analysis and holds 7 patents or patent applications, leading to two licensed technologies. Go has been recognized with the Air Force Office of Scientific Research Young Investigator Research Award, the National Science Foundation CAREER award, the Electrochemistry Society Toyota Young Investigator Fellowship, the Electrostatics Society of America Rising Star Award, and the IEEE Nuclear & Plasma Sciences Society Early Achievement Award. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and former President of the Electrostatics Society of America. At Notre Dame, Go won 2nd place in the 1st Source Bank Commercialization Award, received the Rev. Edmund P. Joyce, C.S.C. Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and served as a Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning Faculty Fellow.

Dean Cole

Dean Cole is a leading scholar of the empirical law and economics of commerce and finance. He was a faculty member at Stanford Law School from 1997 until he came to Notre Dame. At Stanford, he held two endowed chairs and taught courses in the areas of bankruptcy, banking, contracts, and venture capital. In addition, he served for five years as associate dean for curriculum and academic affairs. His research has explored questions such as why corporate bankruptcies are increasingly filed in Delaware and what drives the financial structure of firms backed by venture capital. His recent research has involved the ways in which the world's poor are using technology to solve their own problems, often in the face of government restrictions hindering such solutions. Before joining the Stanford faculty, he was an associate with the Chicago law firm of Mayer Brown. He clerked for Judge Morris Sheppard Arnold of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Dean Cole's extensive legal and scholarly background includes serving as a national fellow at the Hoover Institution, a fellow at the University of Amsterdam Center for Law and Economics, and a visiting professor at several institutions around the world, including the University of Amsterdam, the University of Vienna, Leiden University, Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, Northwestern University, Korea University, and Peking University School of Transnational Law in Shenzhen, China. He has served on the editorial board of the Cato Supreme Court Review, the academic advisory board of BARBRI, the advisory board of the Independent Institute's Center on Culture and Civil Society, and as a member of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit's Bankruptcy Judicial Advisory Committee. He has served on the boards of several civic and charitable organizations, including those of the Central Pacific Region of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith and Businesses United in Investing, Lending and Development (BUILD). He is the former president of the board of directors of Rocketship Education - a national, nonprofit charter school network operating California's most successful charter schools for low-income children. He has also served on the board of trustees of Bellarmine College Preparatory, the oldest Jesuit secondary school on the West Coast. Dean Cole earned his bachelor's degree in applied economics from Cornell University and his juris doctor from Northwestern University, where he served as editor-in-chief of the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business.

Heather Christophersen was named vice president of Human Resources in July 2022. In this role, she is responsible for the comprehensive support and development of all Notre Dame employees, directing the work of benefits and compensation, people services, strategic consulting, talent acquisition, learning and development, staff diversity and inclusion, analytics, and institutional equity teams. Heather graduated from Notre Dame in 1998 with a BS in chemical engineering and later earned her MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. Heather also earned a certificate for the Chief Human Resources Officer program at the Wharton School in 2023. Prior to returning to work at Notre Dame, Heather worked in the chemicals industry for 12 years, both for BP Chemicals and Elevance Renewable Sciences. She served in a variety of progressive roles in manufacturing, logistics, asset management and business operations. Prior to her appointment to vice president of HR, Heather served as the associate vice president of Advancement Services in Notre Dame's Development Office. In this role she led the operational units of Development, including the Internal Engagement, Organizational Strategy (finance and talent management), Information Technology and Services, Research and Prospect Strategy, Gift Management, and Stewardship teams. Previously, Heather served as the director of maintenance within the Facilities Design and Operations Division, where she oversaw the maintenance operations of 190 campus buildings, comprising over eleven million gross square feet and a replacement value of $4.8 billion. She held responsibility for the daily repair and maintenance operations as well as the renewal and reinvestment planning activities for campus facilities. Heather previously held several roles at Notre Dame including director of sustainability and director of strategic planning, where she led efforts to create and implement strategic plans across the university, including the university's first carbon reduction plan. Heather serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of St. Joseph County and she and her husband, Chad (ND '95), and their two children, Quinn and Avery, are active members of the South Bend and Michiana community.

Jane Livingston became vice president for information technology and CIO on July 12, 2021. Ms. Livingston has more than 20 years of experience in higher education IT leadership positions. She was previously at Florida State University, where she was responsible for the university's IT strategy, policies and services with a focus on digital transformation, organizational development and operational excellence. Prior to her time at Florida State, Livingston served in multiple information technology leadership roles at Yale University. She transformed the online experience by standing up technology teams for user experience, technology accessibility and technology web infrastructure. She was the 2017 recipient of the Linda Lorimer Award, conferred by Yale's president on staff who have distinguished themselves through a commitment to excellence and innovative thinking. She was actively engaged in diversity and inclusion initiatives, including leading Yale's Women in Technology program and the IT Climate, Culture and Inclusion Task Force. Livingston has held various positions at Vassar College and with IBM and Boeing. Jeffrey (Jeff) F. Rhoads

Jeffrey (Jeff) F. Rhoads was appointed vice president for research at the University of Notre Dame in July 2023. In this role, he has oversight for Notre Dame's research infrastructure, including supporting programs in all areas of research, scholarship and creative endeavor. He also holds the position of professor of aerospace and mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering. Prior to joining Notre Dame, Rhoads served as executive director of the Purdue Institute for National Security and as a professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering. He previously served as the director of the Ray W. Herrick Laboratories, associate director of the Purdue Energetics Research Center, and director of practice for the Mechanical Engineering Education Research Center at Purdue. He is a leading mechanical engineering researcher and educator, whose interests include dynamics and vibration, energetic materials, additive manufacturing and micro- and nanoelectromechanical systems. Rhoads has attracted more than $75 million in sponsored research funding across his various academic roles - garnering extensive support from the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, the National Science Foundation, and industry. Rhoads is also the co-founder and chief operating officer of Next Offset Solutions Inc. and Level 6 Engineering LLC, startup companies that provide engineering and technical solutions for industry and the defense, energy, and national security sectors. Recognized extensively for excellence in his discipline and teaching, Rhoads is the recipient of the inaugural American Society of Mechanical Engineers' C. D. Mote Jr. Early Career Award, the National Science Foundation CAREER Award, and the American Society for Engineering Education's Ferdinand P. Beer and E. Russell Johnston Jr. Outstanding New Mechanics Educator Award, as well as the Charles B. Murphy Award, Purdue's highest undergraduate teaching honor. He holds a number of patents and is the author of more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, including a widely used undergraduate textbook. Rhoads is a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a member of the American Society for Engineering Education and the National Defense Industrial Association, and has held a number of service and leadership roles in these organizations. In addition, Rhoads often contributes his time to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) pipeline and outreach programs and to inspiring the next generation of well-rounded college students. John B. "Jack" Swarbrick Jr., a University of Notre Dame graduate, serves as Athletic Director Emeritus. He served for 16 years as the Vice President and James E. Rohr Director of Athletics. During his tenure, he attached his signature to a variety of new initiatives including: Pushing Notre Dame to the forefront on issues related to student-athlete experience and the college athletics model - from leadership on the College Football Playoff Management Committee to expand the College Football Playoff to working with Congress to develop parameters to provide competitive equity across the collegiate sports landscape. Developing a plan for expanding Notre Dame Stadium in order to make it a year-round asset for the University, while also improving the gameday experience for student-athletes and fans. That initiative became reality with the 2014 announcement of the Campus Crossroads Project that added new structures to three sides of Notre Dame's home football facility-creating new homes for student activities and recreation, career services, digital media, as well as academic disciplines anthropology, psychology, music and sacred music. John T. McGreevy began his tenure as the Charles and Jill Fischer Provost of the University of Notre Dame on July 1, 2022, the sixth provost at Notre Dame since the position was established in 1970. The University's second-ranking officer, the provost is elected by the Board of Trustees and, at the direction of the president, exercises overall responsibility for the academic enterprise. A graduate of Notre Dame, McGreevy is an acclaimed historian, with a focus on both American and global religion and politics. He is the Francis A. McAnaney Professor of History at the University and recently taught courses on U.S. political history and global Catholicism. He served as the I.A. O'Shaughnessy Dean of Notre Dame's College of Arts and Letters from 2008 to 2018. "Notre Dame's aspiration to become one of the world's leading research universities while sustaining and deepening its Catholic identity is one of the most exciting projects in global higher education," McGreevy said when his appointment was announced. "Given the many challenges we face in our nation, the Church, and the world, this project has never been more important. I am honored to assist in this effort and look forward to working with faculty, staff, and students to advance the work of Notre Dame." He has authored four books that explore the people and the impact of the Catholic Church-the most recent of which, Catholicism: A Global History from the French Revolution to Pope Francis, was published by W.W. Norton and released in September 2022. His essays have been translated into Italian, French, and Spanish, and his articles and reviews have appeared in the Journal of American History, New York Review of Books, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Commonweal, The New Republic, Chicago Tribune, and other publications. He is also one of 12 historians to participate in God in America, an award-winning, six-part PBS documentary on American religious history that first aired in October 2010. During his two terms as dean of Notre Dame's College of Arts and Letters, McGreevy advanced the college in multiple ways, including significantly strengthening the Department of Economics and other areas of the social sciences; increasing the number of Arts and Letters majors writing a senior thesis by more than 30 percent, which in turn has led to more undergraduate research; introducing the nationally recognized 5+1 Postdoctoral Fellowship Program giving students who finish their doctoral degree in five years one year of postdoctoral funding; starting new doctoral degree programs in Spanish, Italian, anthropology, and sacred music; expanding programs and departments in the arts; enhancing existing elite programs in the humanities; growing the Institute for Latino Studies; and creating more interdisciplinary curricula across the University, including a major in neuroscience and minors in computing and digital technologies and business economics. In 2004, he was honored as a Distinguished Lecturer by the Organization of American Historians. A Phi Beta Kappa member and magna cum laude graduate from Notre Dame in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in history, McGreevy earned his master's and doctoral degrees in history from Stanford University. He also taught at Hales Franciscan High School in Chicago. Following his doctoral degree, he completed a Lilly Foundation postdoctoral fellowship in humanities at Valparaiso University before joining the faculty at Harvard University. At Harvard, he was the Dunwalke Associate Professor of American History and History and Literature. He returned to Notre Dame in 1997. He is married to Jean McManus, a librarian in Notre Dame's Hesburgh Libraries. They are the parents of four children.

Rev. Austin Collins, C.S.C., serves as the Vice President for Mission Engagement and Church Affairs, a position he was appointed to in June, 2021. As Vice President for Mission Engagement and Church Affairs, Father Collins works to steward and deepen Notre Dame's Catholic and Holy Cross mission and serves as the University's liaison to the Congregation of Holy Cross, U.S. bishops and the Holy See. He also oversees the Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem and provides critical leadership for the University's ecumenical and interfaith outreach. Father Collins served from 2015 to 2020 as religious superior of Holy Cross priests and brothers at Notre Dame, during which time he also served as a Trustee and Fellow of the University. A faculty member in the Department of Art, Art History and Design since 1985, he was chair of the department from 1997 through 2003 and has served on the University's Academic Council, Faculty Senate, Arts and Letters College Council and numerous committees. Father Collins earned his bachelor's degree from Notre Dame, a master of divinity degree from the Graduate Theological Union and a master of fine arts degree from Claremont Graduate University. He was ordained a priest in the Congregation of Holy Cross, Notre Dame's founding religious community, in 1982. As a sculptor, Father Collins' area of practice includes public art, large outdoor sculpture, installation art and liturgical art, often with a focus on political and social issues. His more than 140 exhibitions include works at Notre Dame and other universities nationwide as well as the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His sculptures also have been placed in 50 public and private collections, and he has delivered more than three dozen public lectures across the country.

Father Daniel Groody, C.S. C. serves as Vice President and Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education. He helps advance undergraduate teaching, research, and outreach and collaborates with the Inspired Leadership Initiative. He has edited or co-edited four books on poverty, justice, and migration. Father Groody's expertise in and passion for refugee and migration issues has also been applied as executive producer of several acclaimed films and documentaries, including One Border, One Body: Immigration and the Eucharist and Dying to Live: A Migrant's Journey. Father Groody has worked with the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the World Council of Churches, the Vatican, and the United Nations on issues of theology, globalization, migration, and refugees. In 2007-08 he was a visiting research fellow at Oxford University's Refugee Studies Centre. A member of the Notre Dame faculty since 2000, Father Groody is a faculty fellow of the University's Kellogg Institute, Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, Institute for Educational Initiatives, Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights, Nanovic Institute for European Studies, and Ansari Institute for Global Engagement with Religion. Fr. Groody holds bachelor's degree from Notre Dame, a M.Div. and STL from the Jesuit School of Theology, a Ph.D. in theology from the Graduate Theological Union, and has done post-doctoral work at Oxford University.

A native of Springfield, Pennsylvania, Fr. Olinger graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in history and government from Notre Dame. He also earned two post-graduate degrees from Notre Dame: a juris doctor cum laude in 2004 and a master of divinity in 2009. During law school, he served as executive notes editor for the Journal of Legislation and a member of the Student Bar Association. After law school, Fr. Olinger entered formation with the Congregation of Holy Cross, made his final vows in August 2009, and was ordained a priest in April 2010. Rev. Hugh R. Page

Hugh R. Page, Jr. is the University's inaugural vice president for institutional transformation and advisor to the President. In this role, he serves as a strategic leader working closely with Father Jenkins and University leadership to create and coordinate an integrated diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy centrally and across various divisions, colleges and schools. He facilitates the formulation and implementation of various DEI initiatives, monitors progress, and works with units to catalyze structural and cultural change consistent with the University's values. Page served as vice president and associate provost for undergraduate affairs from 2013-2022, dean of the First Year of Studies from 2005-2019. He has been a faculty member at the University since 1992 and holds appointments in theology and Africana studies. He has also served as associate dean for undergraduate studies in Notre Dame's College of Arts and Letters and director of the African and African American Studies Program. He was instrumental in the development of the latter into the Department of Africana Studies, which he then chaired. An Episcopal priest, Page holds a bachelor's in history from Hampton University, two master's degrees from The General Theological Seminary in New York, a doctorate in ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation, and a master's and doctorate in Near Eastern languages and civilizations from Harvard University. He joined the Notre Dame faculty in 1992 and, in 2001, received a Presidential Award for distinguished service to the University. Shannon Cullinan was elected executive vice president effective July 2019 after serving as vice president for finance since 2017. He returned to his alma mater in 2000 serving as assistant vice president for Public Affairs and Communications, assistant vice president for Development, associate vice president for Continuous Improvement and Campus Services, and associate vice president for University Relations. Cullinan previously served as the associate executive director of the Center for the Homeless in South Bend, and he also owned and operated an advertising company. He graduated from Notre Dame in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in accountancy and earned his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. Shannon Cullinan was elected executive vice president of the University of Notre Dame effective July 1, 2019, by the University's Board of Trustees. In this role, Cullinan oversees the University's $1.6 billion operating budget and leads the divisions that are responsible for operating the University including Campus Safety and Operations, Economic Development, Facilities Design and Operations, Finance, Human Resources, the Office of Information Technologies, the Investment Office and University Enterprises and Events. Previously, Cullinan served as the vice president for finance at the University of Notre Dame since January 2017, a role in which he was responsible for the University budgets, capital planning, treasury management, procurement, real estate acquisitions and development, financial reporting and analysis, and accounting and financial services. Prior to that, Cullinan was the associate vice president for University Relations, a role in which he worked closely with trustee leadership, executive leadership, deans, and the University Relations team to oversee Notre Dame's advancement and campaign efforts. Cullinan graduated from Notre Dame in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in accountancy. He returned to his alma mater in 2000, serving first as assistant vice president for Public Affairs and Communications. He went on to serve as assistant vice president for Development, and associate vice president for Continuous Improvement and Campus Services, with oversight for more than a dozen departments and 400 employees. For four years prior to joining the University, Cullinan served as the associate executive director of the Center for the Homeless in South Bend, establishing it as a national model. During his tenure at the center, he served as the controller and created a commercial landscape business employing homeless men and women. He also owned and operated an advertising company before working at the center. Cullinan serves on the board of directors of the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, and enjoys contributing his time to the local community through events like the YMCA's Greatest Chef.
