PRECISION AUTO - Key Persons
Steve Landry is the founder of Precision Automotive and has a vast background in the automotive industry beginning at a small Ford dealer in Cheyenne Wells, CO while still in high school. Steve attended Southern Colorado State college in Pueblo and graduated with a AAS in automotive technology. He spent 6 years in Pueblo with 4 of those years at Merrill Axle a specialty Alignment shop. Steve came to Gunnison to work for Chapman Equipment (currently Western Lumber) as a technician and service manager.
He spent two years at Tomichi Tire bringing the alignment business with him before starting Precision Alignment (changed to Precision Automotive in 1999) in 1984. Steve is Master certified as a technician and a graduate from Automotive Management Institute. He enjoys skiing and golf, mountain biking and high performance driving events.
