When you picture a nursing home, do you imagine a cold, unwelcoming place filled with unhappy elderly folks? I did, but that was before I visited a few that I was considering for my mother. I never knew that these facilities could be so warm, comfortable and filled with friendly folks before I took the time to visit a few of them.
