Since 30 December 2013 until the present, in accordance with the contract signed between Sociedad de Gestión de los Sistemas de Registro, Compensación y Liquidación de Valores, S.A.U. (Iberclear) and the Spanish Office for Climate Change of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, as National Administrator responsible for the Spanish Section of the Union Registry, Iberclear is the entity responsible for providing the support service to the National Administrator in relation to the EU Emissions Trading System, the Kyoto Protocol and Paris Agreements for the period 2020-2024.
