Dr. Christine Murphy

Dr. Christine Murphy is the owner of Watershed Assessment Associates. She manages the company's daily operations and personnel. She is also the company's senior scientific editor, writing or reviewing scientific documents produced by WAA. She oversees educational services, develops educational programs and seminars, and teaches at the company's environmental workshops.

Elizabeth Mosher

Elizabeth Mosher, laboratory and field coordinator for Watershed Assessment Associates, is a graduate from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Conservation Biology. She is experienced in stream and lake monitoring, assessment of benthic habitat and riparian zones, data analysis and database creation and management.

Elizabeth Stieber

Elizabeth Stieber, aquatic entomologist and staff biologist, holds a master's degree in Entomology from State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. She performs benthic macroinvertebrate taxonomy and reference collection maintenance for Watershed Assessment Associates. She also participates in field sampling, data management and analysis, and report writing.

Mr. J. Kelly Nolan

Mr. J. Kelly Nolan, a Senior Aquatic Taxonomist and the Director of Environmental Services. He manages all environmental field operations and oversees taxonomy services. He is an SFS certified eastern and western Group 2 (EPT) and eastern and western Group 3 (Chironomidae) taxonomist. He is also the course coordinator and an instructor for the annual Aquatic Benthic Macroinvertebrate Identification Program. Mr. Nolan has over 15 years of aquatic biology and taxonomy experience.

Natalie Ohl

Natalie Ohl holds a B.S. in Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology from Southern Illinois University. She has over 10 years experience as a benthic macroinvertebrate taxonomist, holding Society for Freshwater Science certifications in EPT, East and West; Chironomidae, East and West; and General Arthropods, East and West. She has performed macroinvertebrate identification for projects from the Pacific Northwest, Northern and Central Rocky Mountains, Midwestern and Eastern United States, and from British Columbia and Ontario, Canada.
