Mr. Avishek Modi

Mr. Avishek Modi, a Commerce Graduate, is our man for the future of the organization. Son of Mr. Vinod Modi, he, having decided to assist his father in expanding the family business, joined Suvino Exports Private Limited in 1996. He had taken full charge of the day-to-day functioning of the office from May 1999, after completing his graduation. As a college student, he has excelled in successfully leading The Sydenham College Co-operative Stores Limited and has also handled various important posts and was active in the Students Union. During 2000-2002, he pursued his Post Graduate Diploma in Family Managed Business (MBA) from S P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), learning the science of management. During his past 25 years in business, he has traveled vastly to many cities and countries over the globe, personally meeting the buyers and suppliers and learning local traditions.

Mr. Vinod Modi is the Chairman and Founder Director of Suvino Exports Private Limited. He is a Science Graduate, having vast technical and commercial knowledge in various fields. He started his career with managing M/s Chotanagpur Minerals, a mineral grinding unit in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. The region is the richest in minerals in India. There he gained immense knowledge about minerals. From there he shifted to Mumbai (earlier known as Bombay), the textile and commercial center of India. Here he applied his education and logic to set up various modern textile units. He has been instrumental in the successful commissioning and running of various weaving units, fabric process houses and yarn texturising units. Over the past thirty years, he has gained immense experience in this vast field. For the past decade, he is into exports of various products and commodities from India. Our Chairman, Mr. Vinod Modi, always had the intention of expanding the markets for various products manufactured or produced cost-effectively in India to the international consumers. During the years, we have teamed up with leading manufacturers/producers of some of the products having good potential for export marketing. We together with their support have been quite successful until now and are hoping to touch new peaks as time passes.
