  • Family Law Specialist
Jeremy Naumann is a Director of the firm and is an Accredited Family Law Specialist with the NSW Law Society. Jeremy moved to Walsh & Blair from Canberra in 1994, after graduating in Law and Science from the Australian National University, and has now practised as a solicitor with Walsh & Blair for over 20 years. Since 2002 Jeremy has primarily practised in family law and de facto relationships, including property and financial matters, children's disputes and child support. Prior to becoming a Family Law specialist Jeremy practised in commercial law including conveyancing, wills and succession planning. Jeremy continues to provide advice in these areas to keep a broad practise base. Jeremy is committed to resolving your dispute and takes a practical approach wherever possible. Jeremy considers that most family law matters do not need to "go to Court". Many matters can resolve quickly and through negotiation, however occasionally a matter will require Court intervention. Jeremy regularly represents his clients in contested hearings in Court, however Jeremy considers that should always be the last resort and always advises and strives for resolution as quickly and as amicably as possible. As a Family Law Accredited Specialist Jeremy provides sound legal advice. After your first consultation you will have a practical understanding of the pathways to resolution. Jeremy is Chair of the Relationships Australia Wagga Advisory Board and a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. When Jeremy is not practising law he can be found following his 3 sons around their various sporting activities or finding another native plant to grow in his garden. He is on the board of Cricket Wagga Wagga and wishes he could find more time to play a round of golf or two.
