Kayla R. Knotts

Kayla R. Knotts, O.D., is a distinguished optometrist specializing in comprehensive optometry eye exams and prescription glasses for all ages. Dr. Knotts's specialty focus is scleral lens solutions that provide visual clarity for eye conditions like keratoconus, astigmatism, or irregular corneas. When not at work, Kayla enjoys reading, playing board games, and outdoor activities with her partner, Sam Knotts, and their two sons, Oliver, and Charlie. Education Dr. Knotts holds a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Indiana School of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University. Dr. Knotts is a member of VOSH (Volunteer Optometrists Serving Humanity), an organization of volunteers providing accessible quality eye care around the globe.

Nancy A. Balin

Nancy A. Balin, MD, FACS is a board certified ophthalmologist and surgeon. Dr. Balin's expertise and dedication to the highest quality medical care has earned her widespread recognition throughout western Massachusetts and beyond as a leader in vision correction. Dr. Balin was a pioneer, performing the first Lasik surgery Western Massachusetts, and has to date performed over 8,000 Lasik and PRK procedures. Dr. Balin's surgical specialties include iLASIK, PRK, Refractive Lensectomy, and Refractive Cataract Surgery. She performs No-Stitch Cataract Surgery using the latest in lens technology, and has performed over 20,000 procedures. As the director of the Balin Eye & Laser Center, Dr. Balin offers patients a full-service facility providing the highest quality, most technologically advanced eye care to the residents of Western Massachusetts. The Balin Eye & Laser Center is located in Northampton, Massachusetts Education Dr. Balin received her medical degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. She was then invited to complete a Fellowship in cornea and anterior segment surgery, which she did with highest honors. Dr. Balin has been recognized over the years by various organizations for her many accomplishments in eye care and has been voted by her peers as one of the Best Doctors in America 2009-2012, 2015-2016. Scott Forman

Scott Forman, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in general eye care and neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Forman provides general and comprehensive ophthalmology exams. The doctor brings dedicated expertise to providing the highest quality approach to eye health, staying on top of the latest advancements in his field. When Scott is off the clock, he taps into his passion for playing blues and jazz tunes on his guitar or cycling around town with his wife, taking in the beautiful Pioneer Valley. Education Dr. Forman earned his medical degree from the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at N.Y. Medical College, New York, NY. Dr. Forman completed a Fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.
