BEACON HILL - Key Persons
Anne enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their goals. As a Financial Planner at Beacon Hill, her focus is on the development and implementation of financial planning and investment strategies with our private wealth clients. Anne also provides on-site education for participants in our managed corporate retirement plans.
Anne is a graduate of the Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in Italian and Music. She received her Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from the Fisher College of Business in 2015. Anne obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2018. Prior to working in financial services, Anne ran her family's music store, and was a mortgage loan officer.
Outside of the office, Anne plays the violin with the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, Opera Project Columbus, Westerville Symphony, Greater Columbus Community Orchestra, and the Worthington Chamber Orchestra. She also serves as Treasurer for the Greater Columbus Community Orchestra.
Clint Edgington leads Beacon Hill Investment Advisory's investment team. Beacon Hill provides advisory and family office services to business owners to simplify their financial lives; including their businesses, their retirement plans, and their public and private investment holdings.
Mr. Fissel works with clients to achieve their goals through systematic financial planning practices.
In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, he earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation which certifies he has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process. Mr. Fissel uses this information to help employers improve their retirement plan's design.
He is published in various publications; including, Columbus Business First and The Columbus Dispatch. Mr. Fissel is a graduate of Miami University with a bachelor of science in engineering. He previously was placed in the fast-track program as an engineer for Siemens which ultimately landed Mark and his wife a year abroad, living in Germany as an international delegate.
Mark serves as an elected official in Bellefontaine as City Treasurer, and was a former City Councilman and Finance Committee Chairman. In addition, he has sat on the Board of Directors for several local non-profit organizations. Mark lives in Bellefontaine with his wife Stephanie and their sons, Max, Harrison, Jack & Bennett.
Samantha Jankowski joined the Beacon Hill team in 2023 as our Executive Assistant and Marketing Director after spending two years as a Client Relations Manager at a Home Healthcare Agency in Columbus, Ohio.
Samantha received her Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management and Policy from Indiana University. She is originally from South Bend, Indiana.
Samantha currently resides in Dublin, Ohio with her dog Carmela.
Mr. Shorthill helps clients develop and implement financial planning strategies.
He began his financial service career in 1996, following retirement from the Army as a Major. Bill's experience includes helping business owners, executives, public-service professionals and affluent families with the planning process.
Bill has a degree from the University of Colorado and a Masters from Florida Institute of Technology. He is a former board member of the Financial Planning Association of Central Ohio, and an active member of the Rotary Club of Reynoldsburg/Pickerington.
