The Collins real estate legacy reaches back several generations. Arthur Collins, Sr., was a prominent New York real estate figure during the 1940' and 50's. He was president of Brown, Harris, Steven s and then formed his own company called Collins and Tuttle, which developed and leased commercial buildings in New York City and Chicago and other large cities in the mid-west. Arthur Collins, Jr. founded Collins Development in 1971 and quickly established a reputation for excellence and innovation in the New York metro area. Some of his notable projects include Lyon Farm in Greenwich, CT; Palmer Square in Princeton, NJ; Harbor Plaza in Stamford, CT; and Sono in Norwalk, CT.
