CHRISTA MOORE

Christa is a Civil Engineering graduate from Auburn University in Alabama, USA. She joined ConeTec as a Field Engineer in 2013 and gained experience operating various site investigation tools and equipment, including all CPTu methods (Seismic, Gamma, Resistivity), shear strength profiling, SDMT, ConeTec's geophysical testing equipment, and different soil sampling systems (sonic, rotary, and direct push-based methods). In 2019, she became part of ConeTec's international team, handling large site investigation projects in Asia and Southern Africa. By 2022, she moved to Johannesburg to establish ConeTec's first office in Africa and took the role of Operations Manager, Africa. Christa is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of ConeTec's services in Southern Africa.

John Rogie

Job Titles:
  • Regional Manager
John is a registered Professional Geologist, graduating from Colorado School of Mines in 1996 with a BS degree in Geological Engineering. After several years working in consulting and for the US Geological Survey, John founded California Push Technologies in 2006. In 2015 John's company was acquired by ConeTec, and John joined ConeTec to manage our California operations. He has carried out numerous seismic piezocone and iBPT investigations throughout California and the Western USA. John is currently the California Regional Manager of ConeTec and is located in San Leandro, California.

Keenan Goss

Job Titles:
  • OPERATIONS Manager
Keenan is a Mining-Mechanical Engineering graduate from Queen's University in Kingston, ON, and he has been on the Prince George team for over 5 years executing and managing the most difficult projects that the team has tackled. He is ConeTec's Prince George Operations Manager and his experience ranges from labour-intensive to co-lead engineering positions. Keenan has extensive experience with CPTu deployment (Seismic, Resistivity), electric vane-shear (eVST), flat-blade dilatometer (DMT/SDMT), pressuremeter (PMT), and drilling and soil sampling systems (sonic, rotary, and direct push-based methods). Safety, community engagement, production efficiency, and data quality are the primary values ingrained within. Keenan has developed a strong independence and understanding of how to work in industrial settings safely and effectively, while maintaining a strong, professional relationship with his respective crew and clients. The commitment to stay within the industry is attributed to the appealing, dynamic nature of in-situ geotechnical investigations as well as the opportunities to develop a professional career within the organization.

SIMON JANTZ

Simon is a Mechanical Engineer graduate from University of British Columbia, Canada. During his 12+ years working with ConeTec, Simon has gained a comprehensive understanding of advanced geotechnical site characterization. His experience leading geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations around the world has equipped him with an in-depth understanding of geophysical tools, including seismic cone penetration testing (SCPTu), downhole seismic testing (DST), Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW), and other related in-situ techniques. As the leader of our Seattle team, Simon has helped ConeTec meet the needs of the region, providing a wide range of rigs and tools to characterize soils in the Pacific Northwest.
