Amy Borlund

Ms. Borlund is an active member of the California State Bar. She received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she completed her degree with a specialization in business law and served as an editor for the UCLA Journal of International Law & Foreign Affairs. Ms. Borlund also spent a summer studying international law with William and Mary School of Law's program in Madrid, Spain. As a graduate of Pepperdine University, Ms. Borlund obtained a B.S. in Business and spent her sophomore year studying abroad in Heidelberg, Germany. Prior to joining Doll Amir & Eley LLP, Ms. Borlund practiced law at the Los Angeles office of Arent Fox LLP. Amy Borlund is a partner in the Firm. Chelsea L. Diaz

Chelsea L. Diaz has been with Doll Amir & Eley LLP since 2005. Over the years, she has assisted in litigating many of DAE's biggest cases across a wide-range of practice areas, including insurance fraud, intellectual property and employment law. In November 2010, Chelsea joined DAE's financial services practice and has successfully defended numerous claims arising out of various consumer protection acts, such as the FDCPA, RFDCPA, FCRA, and CCRAA. Ms. Diaz graduated cum laude and was elected Order of the Coif from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in May 2010. While attending Loyola, Ms. Diaz served as a member of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review editorial board and competed on the Willem C. Vis International Moot arbitration team in Hong Kong. She was also a member of the St. Thomas Moore Honor Society and a Public Interest Scholarship recipient. Ms. Diaz graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California, earning her B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Psychology and Law. Connie Tcheng

Connie Tcheng joined Doll Amir & Eley LLP in 2009 and is a partner of the firm. Ms. Tcheng's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. Her litigation experience includes the fields of consumer financial services law, contract law, employment law and complex commercial law, including class action litigation. Dina Sayegh Doll

Dina Doll is an experienced attorney and legal analyst. She is a regular MeidasTouch contributor, an official legal analyst for the Law & Crime Network and has appeared on multiple media outlets including CNN, NewsNation, Access Hollywood, Spectrum News, CTV, HLN TYT, Court TV, Newsmax, KCRW "All Things Considered" and numerous podcasts. While at USC, she was a staff writer for the Daily Trojan as well as an editor of the Law Review. She practiced corporate law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions and private equity. Hunter R. Eley

Hunter R. Eley, Managing Partner of DAE, has served as lead counsel for clients in defense of class action and individual lawsuits throughout the country. Mr. Eley has successfully litigated cases at all levels, including arguing cases of first impression in the Ninth Circuit, arguing appeals in the California Court of Appeal and routinely appearing in state and federal trial courts nationwide. As the chair of the firm's financial services practice, Mr. Eley's experience extends across all lines of the consumer lending business, including issues arising out of retail and online banking, mortgage lending and servicing, credit cards, healthcare loans and auto loans. Jamie Kendall

Jamie Kendall is a partner at the firm. Johari N. Townes

JOHARI N. TOWNES has represented businesses in a wide range of complex litigation matters in state and federal court, including consumer class actions, commercial real estate litigation, breach of contract actions, fraud actions, copyright and trademark infringement actions, and defamation actions. Her clients have included banks, traditional and online retailers, high-tech companies, institutions of higher education, and media companies. Ms. Townes graduated from Wellesley College and the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While at USC Law School, she was a merit scholar, chaired the Moot Court Honors Program, and served on the boards of the Public Interest Law Foundation and Black Law Students Association. Lloyd Vu

Lloyd Vu's practice focuses on business and complex litigation, with an emphasis on patents and intellectual property. As an attorney registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Mr. Vu has particular experience in enforcing and defending intellectual property rights, working with technology ranging from mechanical devices to complex software systems. In addition to his intellectual property expertise, Mr. Vu's litigation experience includes a wide array of business disputes ranging from employment matters to high-stakes contract disputes.
