FICDA

The Franklin Industrial & Commercial Development Authority (FICDA) was established in 1985 to operate the Venango Area Industrial Complex. The complex consists of three buildings on 23+ acres located in the City of Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania... In 1988, FICDA had 8 tenants and 139 employees. Today, FICDA is home to 21 businesses, employing over 800 people. There have been a number of businesses who got their start at FICDA and have moved out and into their own buildings throughout the community... FICDA is the proud owner and operator of the Venango Area Industrial Complex (VAIC) and the Emerging Technology Center (ETC). Along with the responsibility of ownership, operation, and maintenance of the VAIC, FICDA is also an industrial and commercial incubator. The incubator promotes economic development and assists in the manufacturing and commercial activity in the Franklin area.
