After graduating from Purdue University, Steve and his wife Cindy relocated from Indiana to California's Central Coast. Shortly after moving, Steve started Hattersley Construction and built his first home in Chualar Canyon. As the business grew, Steve became known for his exceptional craftsmanship, vision, and thoughtful approach to each project. Hattersley Construction quickly garnered a reputation as one of the premier builders in the area... Colin grew up around the business, and at a young age helped with the construction of their family home. He continued to work for the company during the summers in high school and college. After graduating from UC Davis, Colin partnered with Steve, bringing a fresh approach, and an appreciation for the artistry, craftsmanship, and authenticity that has become their trademark.
