Glen Lewis

For more than 30 years, Glen Lewis has worked as a civil engineer, handling a broad spectrum of issues, problems and solutions for cities, counties and some of the world's largest corporations. As owner/principal of JES Engineering, Inc., Glen plays an instrumental role in engineering utility and telecommunication projects, developing and building power stations, substations, wind and solar farms, transmission lines and telecommunication towers. Glen's background includes extensive work for the government, with nearly 20 years as City Engineer/ Public Works Director. This experience facilitates a streamlined process in working with multiple agencies and myriad regulations. Glen and the JES team play a significant role in the development and construction of some of the largest wind and solar farms in the United States. The team provides a full range of engineering services for public infrastructure, structures, hydrology and hydraulics, construction methods and administration, CAD design, public administration and capital improvements, land surveying (including topographic, boundary, GPS, and construction surveys) and mechanical systems. Glen earned his BS in Civil Engineering at Brigham Young University. He is a registered Civil Engineer in California and Nevada.

Jeff Irvine - VP

Jeff Irvine has more than 25 years of experience working in project management and daily operations for the utility and telecommunications industries. He has worked extensively in the United States and internationally, overseeing the engineering and construction of utility companies, substations, wind farms, solar farms, transmission lines and telecommunication towers. His years of international work include successful large-scale projects in Bogota, Colombia, and Indonesia, which earned him a reputation for effective project management in scenarios that ranged from straightforward to extreme and hazardous. As project manager, he oversees a complex network of teams and suppliers that span multiple countries. He specializes in keeping projects on time and on budget, and in turning around under-performing projects. In his roles as project manager and operations manager, he has successfully overseen large-scale projects totaling in excess of $450 million. These include projects for JES Engineering, Alcoa, enXco, Koll Telecommunications, Bechtel, AT&T, Motorola, Sprint, Verizon and the United States Coast Guard. Jeff focuses primarily on project management for emerging technologies; in recent years for the alternate-energy industry. Additionally, he has strong experience in business startups, new market development, new project deployment, operations organization, property acquisition, land use approvals and construction management.

Kenneth L. Carter - CFO, Treasurer

Ken Carter serves as secretary treasurer and chief financial officer for JES Engineering. With more than 30 years' experience acquiring, operating and building businesses, Ken has an extensive background in management, from supervising construction field personnel, to executive management. At JES, Ken oversees the accounting department, and assists in daily operations. His business background extends to valuations and acquisition. He has successfully completed more than a dozen mergers and acquisitions. Ken was educated at Brigham Young University, with a special focus on accounting and finance. He holds C-10, C-20, C-45, D-21, D-24, C-57, and C-61 licenses from the Contractor's License Board, and a Real Estate License.

Todd Pace

Job Titles:

Todd Pace is a licensed civil engineer who manages multiple design staff members for JES Engineering. His background includes extensive experience in wind energy projects, water resources engineering and various types of land development projects. Todd acts as a liaison between various parties, including the client, consultants, cities, counties and state agencies, such as the Department of Water Resources, Caltrans and the Department of Fish and Game. He is formally educated and very experienced in water-related issues and design, including potable and non-potable water systems, sanitary sewer, hydrology and storm drainage infrastructure. Todd holds a bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in business administration. Todd is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California and is a Qualified SWPPP Developer and a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner.
