I was born and raised in Staunton, VA and have great admiration for the Valley. I am a proud mother who stays very busy with her 4 children, their activities and sports and in helping with school functions. My accounting experience began when I worked for my fathers' local accounting firm as a bookkeeper; it was there that I discovered my love of numbers and bookkeeping. I have worked in the accounting field, mainly bookkeeping and payroll for close to 15 years. I joined Kris's team in June of 2018 and am very excited to expand my passion for QuickBooks and in working with many businesses in our community. My hobbies are working out, being outdoors, Jeep rides and spending time with my family and friends. In addition, I am an avid sports fan, with a huge love for Hokie football.
I am a native of Mississippi and have lived in the Staunton area since 2009. I have been with Kris McMackin CPA since 2011. I enjoy spending most of my time involved in my church and outreach activities in our community. When not at work or volunteering I also have a love for baking, dessert making and gardening. My husband and I spend much of our time traveling to Georgia to visit our daughter, son in law and two beautiful grandchildren.
I grew up in Grottoes but for many years my husband, daughter, and I have made Churchville our home, both very small towns in the Shenandoah Valley. I have over 30 years of experience in administrative support in the public accounting industry. I continue to love what I do and I also love QuickBooks. I will normally be your first point of contact when you call our office and I am always happy and eager to assist you.
