As chief operating officer of MFM, John is responsible for the day to day management of the company. His interest in the investment markets began in the mid 1970's during college. He began his career with the Continental Insurance Company of New York, working in the investment department tracking the activity of corporate investment portfolios. Many portfolios utilized options to reduce risk and increase income... He later worked at US Realty & Investment Company of Newark, New Jersey, a private realty investment mortgage company, as assistant controller, where he became exposed to mortgage hedging practices utilizing futures and options.
