The company eSMART was founded in 2011 as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Our company develops intelligent control systems for your home or workplace. These systems can be used locally or remotely and show you where, when and how you are consuming energy... Our aim is to introduce the latest technologies in terms of enhanced security, comfort and energy efficiency into your home or workplace... To optimise installation, the exclusive technology PLC-eSMART from EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne), developed by eSMART, makes the technical solution and realisation easy: simply install micro-modules behind the switches and meters, with no additional cables, radio or line bus: the devices communicate via the existing wiring.
