NINA MONELL DESIGN

As a native New Yorker, Nina attended lower and middle school at Nightingale- Bamford, located in the heart of Museum Mile. Her early introduction to fine arts and antiques was encouraged by her parents who placed great value in her cultural education, and who as avid collectors, she would accompany on their frequent trips to Sotheby's, Christies and the shows and galleries that defined the New York art scene. When Nina left for boarding school, her parents moved to their Palm Beach home where they had spent their winter childhoods. Upon graduating from Southern Methodist University, Nina returned to New York working for AVENUE Magazine where her love of arts, and furniture were reignited. By way of her focus on interior design and real estate editorial, she now envisioned a career that would combine her passions and enrolled at The New York School of Interior Design.
