Ed has over 20 years of experience in project estimating and management for clients including the Illinois Department of Transportation, county governments in Northern Illinois, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction from Bradley University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. His experience in many aspects of road, bridge and commercial development; from small projects to the top contractors in Illinois, benefits every STARK & SON client, large or small.
Karen has served STARK & SON for 10 years. She answers the phones, handles special projects, and takes care of permits for mobilization of equipment.
Michael has 36 years of experience in the business and is a third-generation employee from the Stark family. He wears many "hats" and does whatever it takes to get the job done. He began working as a laborer and worked his way up from operator to foreman, superintendent, project manager and general manager and president.
Patricia has served STARK & SON for over 20 years. She is in charge of contracts, receivables, payables and payroll; and also serves as Safety Director.
Tony was brought up in the the business and has been around equipment since age 13. He became a full time employee in 1998; beginning as an operator and then working his way up to superintendent and vice president. He is also a licensed State of Illinois septic installer, foreman of the septic crew, and skilled in the maintenance of small engines.
