This real estate business has been in the Westerly area since the early 1900's. It was first named Gavitt Realty and then Lewiss Realty. In 1959 Stanton J. Terranova, Sr. established Stanton Realty (incorporated in 1993). Stanton, an electrician by trade with a young family, jumped into the real estate business and established himself as a leader in sales and rentals in Misquamicut Beach. He commissioned his two sisters, Lois and Jane, and brother-in-law, Laverne, to work along side him during the formative years making Stanton Realty a true family enterprise...
