As Founder & Principal, Dr. Desmond Raitt is a Biopharma professional with over 25 years experience in academia (National Institute for Medical Research, London; Harvard Medical School and Dana Farber Cancer Institute), Biotech (Genentech, Biocision, HTG Molecular) and pharmaceutical industry (Vertex Pharmaceuticals, ALTANA Pharma, Nycomed, Ferring Pharma), in addition to experience in Venture Capital (Burrill & Co, venBio) and Consulting. We established the US West Coast Search & Evaluation office for Nycomed US, a global pharmaceutical client, here in the UCSF Mission Bay campus to evaluate and provide access to deal flow, licensing and M&A opportunities across all therapeutic areas (focus on Autoimmune, Oncology and GI indications).
