Ryan Lothian is a Branding and Design Consultant at CHOUmedia. He specializes in web and media design, specifically related to branding and identity for individuals, corporations, and events. Previously, Ryan worked as the Marketing Coordinator at Ocean Tomo, an intellectual property consulting firm. At Ocean Tomo, Ryan was responsible for the company's design work, including branding and logo design, website development, internal and external marketing pieces, and mail campaigns. Ryan created all design pieces for the company's live intellectual property auction events, including event websites, branding, and collateral.

Wendy Chou - Founder, President

CHOUmedia is Wendy's brainchild born out of a combination of her passion for marketing and experience in the intellectual property industry. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications and has spent the past 15 years working within the intellectual property, legal, and tech communities with a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, investors, law firms, start-ups, sole inventors, academic institutions, national laboratories, government agencies, non-profit associations, and media groups. Prior to founding CHOUmedia in 2009, Wendy led the branding and promotional efforts at Ocean Tomo, LLC, a global professional services firm, where she was the firm's first Director of Marketing and Communications. During her tenure, Wendy established the marketing program and processes eventually growing the marketing department to a team of five full-time professionals, who managed cross-platform marketing campaigns and overall branding strategy as well as media relations and external communication efforts. Wendy was also instrumental in launching the firm's successful, internationally recognized live IP auction event business. She obtained top-tier media exposure for the auction business and other firm practices, including placements and features in many major media outlets, such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune, Chicago Tribune, Information Week, BusinessWeek, Washington Post, Forbes, CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business. Earlier in her career, Wendy founded and managed the intellectual property events division at a commercial conference company where she worked directly with thought leaders, key executives and media professionals on the development and planning of over 30 cross-industry programs.
