Aaron became President of our firm and head of the tax department in 2009 when he and his wife Jen assumed second generation ownership of our thirty year old firm. Born and raised in Longview, Aaron graduated from Western Washington University. He joined our firm after working with large Seattle firms, most recently as a Tax Manager with the regional CPA firm Clark Nuber.
Adam spent most of his early years growing up in the city of Puyallup, WA until the beginning of his sophomore year in high school, which was when his family moved to La Center. While living in Puyallup he played as many sports as he could, which included baseball, football, even some basketball. In high school he concentrated more on the music side of things and played trumpet for the concert, jazz, and pep bands. While at La Center High School, he joined the golf team and competed at the state 1A tournament.
After high school, Adam attended Central Washington University where he majored in Accounting and Finance. After college, he and his wife moved to the greater Seattle area where he worked for a local public accounting firm. On his birthday in 2015 he found out that he had received a passing score for all four parts of the CPA exam and received his license soon after.
In his spare time Adam enjoys being outdoors with his wife, Melissa, and 2 daughters. He loves going hiking, camping, fishing, shooting, swimming, and throwing the football around. When the weather is being uncooperative, you can find him exercising in his garage gym, playing any kind of game, or cheering on the Seahawks and the Mariners.
Adithya is a committed individual on the path to becoming a CPA. He has completed a three-year Articled Assistantship in a Chartered Accountant firm, followed by a six-month internship as a Cost Trainee, gaining substantial practical experience in the field. Adithya's personal life is deeply rooted in family values, and he enjoys spending quality time with his family. He also has a passion for cooking, often trying out new recipes he finds in online videos, which adds a delightful flavor to his life outside of his professional ambitions.
Alyssa lives in Zambales, Philippines. After graduating from San Beda University with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, she started her career in taxation as a tax analyst for a local member of a global firm network. She focused on US taxation for private equity funds for three years working with global counterparts. Alyssa is currently a preparer for individual and business taxes.
Alyssa is five minutes away from the beach and enjoys seaside picnics, island hopping, hiking, and visiting local beachfront restaurants.
Amanda grew up in Vancouver, Washington, and recently moved to nearby Camas. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Washington State University, graduating with honors. Amanda interned at Opsahl Dawson during two tax seasons and has now taken on a full-time role there. She's excited to deepen her understanding of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Outside of work, Amanda is into weightlifting, exploring sand dunes, reading, and tackling different projects at home. She also coaches high school wrestling and has just completed her fifth season. Her dedication has earned her the title of Assistant Coach of the Year for the past two years.
Born in Canada and raised in Florida, Andrea has lived in many parts of North America. She earned her bachelor's degree in finance as well as her master's degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida (go Knights!). As an undergraduate she also competed on the UCF Women's tennis team. And fun fact: Andrea was a torchbearer at the 2010 Vancouver, Canada Olympics!
After graduation, Andrea began her career in investments, working for large brokerage firms within their high net worth client divisions. After taking time off to focus on her family, Andrea's love of numbers led her to the world of accounting. She is excited to be part of Opsahl Dawson, where she is primarily focused on individual tax returns. Her experience also includes small business, trust, and estate returns.
Oluwabamise (Bam) Olayisade grew up in London, UK, but later moved to Longview, WA after marrying his wife. He studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Teesside and worked as a bookkeeper for several years before joining ODC. Currently, Bam is delving into the world of tax preparation, assisting individuals, small businesses, and estates, while also managing bookkeeping for local companies. Apart from his work, he's an avid supporter of the Celtics basketball team and finds joy in the playful behavior of his energetic black Golden Doodle, Pepper (also known as Peppa).
Billy was born and raised in Vietnam and moved to the Unites States when he was a teenager. He graduated from Washington State University - Vancouver in 2019, majoring in accounting and finance. Since graduation, he has been working in the public accounting industry where his focus has been on preparing individual and business taxes and financial statements, as well as performing bookkeeping services.
In 2021, Billy moved to Texas with his family and continued to pursue his career in the public accounting industry. He plans to obtain his CPA certification and is excited to further develop his knowledge in taxation and auditing.
In his free time, Billy enjoys playing soccer and is a huge supporter of Chelsea FC. Billy also loves to travel around the country to explore and discover different places and cultures. He misses the beautiful nature of the Pacific Northwest and plans future travels back to Washington state.

Brooke grew up in small mountain town in southwest Colorado and recently relocated to the northwest. She earned her bachelor's in accounting, with a minor in psychology, from Fort Lewis College located in Durango, Colorado. Brooke was the Supervisor for the Client Accounting Services Department for a firm in the four corners and is now transitioning into tax. She has 10 years of experience in government contracting and procurement, accounting services and management.
Brooke is an avid fly fisher and spends most of her free time on the river. She is passionate about the outdoors and being involved in her local community. She enjoys connecting with clients and going the extra mile to ensure their needs are met. So, whether you have an accounting or fishing related question she is happy to help.
Carrie is the anchor of our Lacey office front desk where you'll find her greeting our clients with a smile. Her positive attitude has radiated like sunshine throughout our firm since she started in 2005. Carrie graduated from Portland State University and has a degree in Women's Studies. She brings to us an extensive business background in real estate, marketing, customer service relations and administrative management.
When she's not maneuvering the numerous duties of our front desk, you'll find her happily working away in her community garden and cooking up delicious gourmet meals full of the freshest homegrown vegetables. Carrie also enjoys spending time with her little dog, Maggie, discussing politics, and is an avid reader of nonfiction books.
Carrie is an active participant in her community. She volunteers for the local nonprofit organization Urban Abundance whose mission is "Connecting people to create a secure food future."
Carrie's journey into the professional world began with roles in auditing and industry accounting immediately after her college years, a path that led her to discover a passion for bookkeeping. Alongside her husband, they stay busy with their four children, all of whom are navigating different stages of their education. Their Olympia home, cherished for over a decade, serves as the launchpad for a weekend whirlwind of soccer, gymnastics, and sailing.
