After 20+ years of self-study, practice and small program learning in medical computing, I embarked on formal training in Medical Informatics. The MMI Program at Northwestern University develops leaders who can harness the energy and creativity of both Healthcare and Information Technology professionals. Trained in a synchronous program, these leaders are able to speak the languages of both Information Technology and Medicine to facilitate understanding between these disparate disciplines.
