Blair Courtney-O'Connor

Blair Courtney-O'Connor is on the Executive Management Group at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS). He is the Chief Information Officer with the responsibility to build and deliver modern and contemporary information technology services ensuring that the college remains at the forefront of the education industry. He started his career as a Business and Marketing administrator in the wine industry. He then transitioned to the Anglican Church; he was ordained as a Deacon in the Sydney Anglican Diocese and worked as an Assistant Minister in various Anglican parishes across Sydney. During this period, he also worked as a Project Manager for Touraust Corporation undertaking investment analysis and managing large scale corporate transactions. He then transitioned to the education industry and began his career with ICMS as a Data Analytics Development Manager and built a Power BI reporting platform across the college. During this period, he also worked as a Company Director and Property Development Manager for Aspiring Properties and ICMS overseeing multiple property development projects. He then took on the role of CIO at ICMS with the responsibility of driving technological improvement across the college

Dr Betul Sekendiz

Dr Sekendiz was the principal chief investigator on a competitive SOLT grant investigating safety and quality in work integrated learning, as well as a chief investigator on a highly competitive multidisciplinary nationwide research project funded by the Australian Research Council and industry partners AUSactive (formerly Fitness Australia) and Sports Medicine Australia that emanated from her PhD study and focused on evidence informed policy development to improve and promote risk management best practices in the health and fitness industry for health and safety. Dr Heidi Le Sueur

Designing an assessment cycle to assure students' learning on degree programme goals and objectives, Graduate School of Business Stellenbosch University Dr Heidi le Sueur is Deputy Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) overseeing the pedagogy and curriculum of all programs of study offered by International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) and the Aspire Institute. She is a member of the Executive Management Group, Academic Board, Learning and Teaching Committee and Senior Academic Team. Dr Le Sueur started her career in corporate training and development where she worked with multi-national organisations on a range of topics such as managing strategic change, leadership development and team-building using a range of innovative approaches including experiential outdoor learning. Over her 12 years of corporate experience she worked with clients such as German Telekom, T-Mobile, Avery Dennison, Postbank, ABSA Bank, TNT-Academy and TÜV Rheinland Group in various countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. In 2013, Dr Le Sueur transitioned from the corporate sector into Higher Education where she was able to combine her practical work experience and her academic background obtained through her studies. Her initial roles in academia had a dual focus on management and academic work in the form of teaching and research. Over this time, she worked at the University in Cape Town and the Stellenbosch University in South Africa. In the leadership roles she held as Head of Accreditation and Quality Assurance and later Head of Teaching & Learning she was afforded the opportunity to enhance the standards of management education and to lead impactful changes to Teaching & Learning processes, programmes, assessments and other critical quality and accreditation aspects. A key focus of her work was to ensure that the Business Schools were successfully achieving accreditation status for the three internationally recognised accreditation bodies: AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS and local Higher Education Authorities. Her last appointment prior to joining ICMS was as Academic Director for Massey University Executive Development Unit in New Zealand which offered Executive MBA and MBA programmes. In this role she contributed to the academic strategy and led improvement processes, such as programme positioning for domestic and international students and the design of new attractive offerings. Dr Le Sueur holds a PhD in the field of organisational behaviour and personnel development from the Faculty of Education at the University Bielefeld, Germany; a Master's degree Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town, South Africa; a Master's degree in Education and Pedagogy from the University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Germany.

Dr Jae Won Kang

Dr Jae Won Kang is on the Senior Academic Team at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS), and he is Academic Program Manager for the Bachelor of Business (Sports Management) and the Bachelor of Property (Development, Investment and Valuation). Dr Kang provides academic leadership and offers support to faculty and students in the area of learning and teaching related to student outcomes, program delivery and effectiveness. He has strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with key culturally and linguistically diverse stakeholders in the Asia-Pacific region. Dr Kang has a proven track record of interdisciplinary research and research funding, and he has experience in supervising research students, scholarly teaching activities and reviewing quality assurance in higher education. Dr Leonid Petrov

Dr Leonid Petrov graduated from St. Petersburg State University (1994) with an M.A. in Asian and African Studies and completed his Doctorate dissertation, Socio-economic School and the Formation of North Korean Official Historiography at the Australian National University (2003). Since 2003, Dr Petrov lectured at the Intercultural Institute of California (San Francisco), Keimyung University (South Korea), Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), the University of Sydney and Australian National University. Dr Leonid Petrov is currently working on a project sponsored by the Australian Research Council, North Korea's Quiet Transformation: The Role of Women in Farmers' Markets. As senior lecturer at ICMS, Dr Petrov teaches Strategic Intelligence, Cross-cultural Management, and other business-related subjects.

Dr Trevor Clark

Dr Trevor Clark is currently Dean (Undergraduate) overseeing all undergraduate programs of study. He is a member of the Executive Management Group, Academic Board, Learning and Teaching Committee and Senior Academic Team at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS). Dr Clark played professional rugby league in England for 12 years during the 80' and 90's, also completing Honors' and Masters' degrees in Sport & Exercise Science from Leeds Beckett University. He also holds a PhD from Massey University focused on Sport and Health. He started his academic career at the Waikato Institute of Technology in his hometown of Hamilton, NZ as a lecturer in sport and exercise physiology. He was persuaded to return to professional rugby league as Head of Performance with the NZ Warriors in the NRL for 3 seasons before once again transitioning back into academia. Dr Clark has built a career around sport, leadership and high-performance environments. His collective experiences over the past 35 years have led him to many countries, opportunities and experiences. He brings a wealth of knowledge to ICMS from a practitioner, educator and research perspective, and his depth of experience in the field of high-performance provides the perfect platform for him to utilise these skills in his daily work environment. Dr Clark holds a BA (Hons) degree in Human Movement from Leeds Beckett University UK; Masters' degree in Sport & Exercise Science also from LBU; and a Doctor of Philosophy from Massey University, Wellington, New Zealand. Dr. Reenu Maskey

Dr. Reenu Maskey is the Postgraduate Program Manager (Business & Management). Dr. Maskey is qualified in Supply Chain Management and has experience in teaching and research. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electronics & communication) from Nepal and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Greenwich in London. Reenu has been working as a Lecturer in various universities in Australia since 2015 and has published several scholarly articles. She completed her PhD in Supply Chain Management from the Australian Maritime College, the University of Tasmania in 2018. Before joining ICMS, Dr Maskey worked at the University of Tasmania, La Trobe University, Sydney Campus, Victoria University, Sydney and Swinburne University of Technology, Sydney as a lecturer. She also worked as a Learning Support Advisor at the Swinburne University of Technology, Sydney assisting students with academic writing and referencing.

Nicole Venter

Nicole Venter is on the Senior Academic Team at the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS). She is Program Manager for the Bachelor of Business (Fashion and Global Brand Management) and the Bachelor of Business (Marketing). As Program Manager, Ms Venter (née Battram) oversees the undergraduate degrees specialising in fashion and global brand management and marketing and works to: provide academic leadership; support faculty and students; direct learning and teaching; coordinate program delivery and oversee program effectiveness. Ms Venter has lectured for many years across all fashion and marketing disciplines, with a particular interest in consumer behaviour, visual merchandising and retail brand strategy. She started her career as a consumer experience consultant for IBM and then as a senior strategist for a boutique retail agency. Working in academia part time to help grow the market of retail specialist graduates for the booming international brands entering the sector post GFC. Outside of academia where Nicole has worked across course development and program lead roles, she has also worked with many of Australia's leading brands as a consumer experience strategy consultant. These include, but are not limited to; MYER, Qantas, Masterchef, GlueStore, Metcash, Dreamworld and many, many more as well as supporting new starter businesses and entrepreneurs entering the industry. Nicole holds a Masters degree in Marketing from Macquarie University as well as a Bachelor in Commerce Marketing from Macquarie University.
