The Ragon was officially established in 2009, with a donation from the Phillip T. and Susan M. Ragon Foundation. Throughout our history, our flexible funding structure has enabled us to be nimble in our approach to targeting new illnesses and capitalizing on emerging breakthroughs. Our focus is on immunology and global infectious disease, which began with an early focus on HIV... The Ragon Institute's mission is to transform medical care by harnessing the immune system to prevent and cure human diseases... Collaborate. Research. Cure. These three words embody the spirit of what we represent at the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard. We're proud to announce our new logo - and tagline - as part of an institute-wide rebrand ahead of the opening of our new building next year! Our updated visual identity combines elements of unity, collaboration, and clarity to create an intelligent framework for conveying our mission and vision.
